When I say this I mean controllers, accesories, game guides and such. I would really like to get some extra stuff on friday like a zelda guide and maybe an extra controller and on sunday I could just walk in and walk out with my wii, zelda and red steel no problem at EB games.
Thanks

I hope the video cables and the USB Ethernet adaptor come out before the 19th so I don't have to worry about finding them on the 19th. I asked my friend who works at Best Buy if they were putting out any of that sort of stuff early and he didn't know, hopefully he'll get back to me on that.

I believe the controllers will be released only with the system...Most 3rd party stuff is released early, official Nintendo stuff is the day of the launch.

Anything official Nintendo is street dated for the 19th as well as 1st party titles.

I'd actually like it if I had Zelda a few days early...it would give me time to drool over the instruction manual before playing the game (because when I get the game with the system, I'm obviously going to boot it up immediately and not give that manual a second thought).

you sure about this?
when the gamecube came out, i waited in line at walmart, got it at midnight, and beforehand, while waiting in line that night, they had all the games and accessories out for the grabbing, and to help the line move faster, they were encouraging us buy that stuff first so that the system was all we had to pick up at midnight.
the day before all of that, 2 days before gamecube launch, i bought an official first party controller, official first party memory card, luigi's mansion and super monkey ball... all from an ebgames.
same goes with the DS when it was released... they obviously wouldn't sell me the system before the release date, but i bought super mario 64 ds and feel the magic from best buy, two days before the DS came out.
i think the only street dated thing is the system itself. now, a lot of stores will not sell any of the games or accessories until launch day, so that the people waiting in line have a variety to choose from. but that's solely up to the store itself. i've found that it usually doesn't take much hunting to find someone at some store that will have first party accessories and games sitting on the shelf for purchase.

The 360 launch was the same. They had games, controllers, etc., for sale before the actual console launch. I'll definitely be checking around starting on the 14th.

I've got a few $15 off of $100 coupons to use at Circuit City, so hopefully they'll have some stuff out later this week. It would be nice to pick up Red Steel and Rayman early.
