I have a 40 off coupon (thank you video game deals board) at CC and was wondering what kind of launch CC is having, whether it be midnight, or early sunday morning anyone have any info?

I tried calling CC earlier, but no one picked up. I'll try again tomorrow and report what I find out.

According to the posting of the ads on main page, it looks like they get a min of 20 per store.

A friend of mine informed me that the CC I'm getting my Wii from (Vienna, VA) is indeed having a midnight launch. I don't know if it's universal yet however.

Say I got to a CC at 4AM, would that be enough time do you think?

it would depend on the area, we have a best buy, wal-mart, sams club, Gamestop and Toys R' Us all in the vicinity so im hoping the CC crowd is diluted, otherwise this place gets busy *tries to forget black friday last year*

CC midnight launches are massively YMMV... it's certainly not happening in my neck of the woods. In fact, it would appear that the only store in Charleston that's doing a midnight launch with units available is Walmart, and eff them.

CC and BB won't even commit to a number of units they're going to be getting in, but they will be handing out numbered tickets the morning of the 19th about an hour before they open to keep things orderly.

Hmm... I work at a CC in San Antonio, I will find out if the $40 dollar coupon applies, and I'd highly doubt a midnight launch, in fact I could almost guarantee we wont have one. If I remember I'll ask tomorrow at work and post my results on here.

The CC where I'm planning on getting the Wii said normal store hours. We'll see how that works.

how does cc suck? we are making like 10 bucks on each wii we sell why would we intentionally lose money? i guarantee no one else will either

anyways we have about 1400 wii's at our distribution center in OK, which goes to a little over a hundred stores i believe so we'll see how those are distributed
and no, we're not doing a midnight launch.

Wii launch will more than likely just be normal hours. Sunday morning is actually our Black Friday employee prep meeting. So all the employees will be there early just not for the launch, and those meetings are often set by corprate IIRC.

We will open at 10am as usual, but we have a meeting at 8am for employees, regardless, earliest you'll get your wii at CC will be 10am.

it's not going to be a lotto is it? I hate when stores do that

A lotto meaning that the guy in the back has as good a chance as the guy in the front of the line?

Pretty sure that my store is doing first come first serve, no lottery.

Might not apply to all stores though.

well my location in SA is getting 30, the other one is getting 20 and the other has 39
so 89 wii's total at CC's in san antonio

I asked at the Greenwood, Indiana store and it was first come, first served. They didn't say anything about different hours.
