Can a usb wireless adapter work on the 360 or an old xbox wireless adapter. Thanks for the help I don't want to buy a $100 360 one lol.

The old Xbox adaptor actually used the ethernet connection on the Xbox and will work on the 360. However, the only USB wireless adaptor that works for the 360 is the official one.
Correct, you'll need what's known as a wireless bridge or "gaming adapter" which plugs in through the ethernet port on the 360 to go wireless or if you want usb stick with the official one from MS

Does having a B or G speed router matter? It seems to me, I would want a G because I'd want zero lag.

doesnt matter. you wont get any lag, well any lag related to it being b.

for the price of those adapters on newegg you can pick up an official adapter on ebay.
i bought mine from target. yeah it sucked having to pay retail. but my roomate thinks he's lord of the router and has to control it

well that link is supposed to go to like a $25 one but I guess they dont have it now and its just links to the other linksys routers.

refurbished for $16.87..should i get on this deal?
