The only team I've played with for a while would be 3/4 of Revolution, so I'd have to play a lot with a group before doing a tourney. I would prefer that you become a backup for one single team. That way, we always have an idea of who's on what team and how they stack against other CAGers.

Because in execution, teammates have a better chance of being revived, plus, the opponents run a greater risk having to actually run all the way towards the downed player and stomp them. It's tougher, riskier, and longer than normal matches.

This is not a sanctioned or prize tournament so new players are always welcome to join. However, we have closed the team rosters so no more new teams. I recommend putting as many CAG members on your XBL friends list. Go back to the first page of this thread and get the XBL tags on first post. Teams are always looking for backups because not everyone can be online every night to play.

First round matches are scheduled to be played starting from Tuesday November 21 at 8pm Eastern until November 22 at 2:59am Eastern. You have the whole night to play pretty much. Basically, after you are done with dinner and homework or other commitments, just come on. There's plenty of time that night.

Regardless of how many players you have, you gotta play - we gotta get the tournament going. Now, if no one from your team shows up, that's a penalty plus a loss, very different from one player showing so you better have someone show up. Don't worry, it's the first round so you won't be dropped for the tournament yet with one lost.

And as someone who has started many leagues and tournaments here you might want to think more about just kicking out people who don't play in the first round and replacing them so it doesn't continue to be a problem. Though are window too play is pretty small so you may want some leeway in that.

Penalties are in place so that if your team slacks and does not show up to play, you get -10 points. At the end when I tally up the points for 1st, 2nd, etc., it'll show. Just a little system I created so no one slacks - I don't expect anyone to forfeit a match by no show. And how much time are you talking about? You can play your match any time any day. I was just placing a date so everyone will get going.

As for that 3rd round, yes, there will be three teams. The only thing I can think of doing is another bye (don't hit me!) through the means of number drawing.
