The most recent dream I had was for whatever reason I took my history teacher from last year's laptop in the morning and took it home for the day. Most of this nightmare was me worrying, feeling sorry, and being scared of him, since he needs his laptop to teach his class. Lame, I know.

When I was small, I had this weird wooden duck toy w/ a rope that I would always drag everywhere. I would constantly have dreams of a man in a black trench coat wearing a Van Helsing kind of hat, confined to a wheelchair. That mofo would constantly haunt my dreams, and steal my duck. What a dick.

I once had an awful dream where some of my sophomore-year HS classes weren't even in the same city, much less the same building, as my school. And one of my classes was an intro to country music. This was 1986.

I always had this repetitive dream (although it has stopped recently) of Batmans the Penguin (it was like a caracature of the Movie Batman returns Penguin) and he had his trademark umbrella except it was all very colorful and everything would be distorted and spinning....then he emerged out of the waters with a giant octopus/squid thing...

It was really wierd and I got freaked out......

The worse part was Batman wasnt in my dream at all and for some reason the Penguin would always try to make me go to his side and he squeezed me with his giant octopus as well as some other random people....

Then I woke up and just usually shoke it off.....but I was still scared as hell..\

Now it doesnt occur much...hardly in the recent years..

When I was little, I used to have a recurring nightmare. I was a fox, and for some reason this alligator was chasing me around(don't know why an alligator could keep up with a fox lol), and we ran all around my house. It always ended with me jumping out the window and dieing(even though it was a 1 story house...). Sounds stupid now, but it was scary at the time.

My most frightening nightmare came after seeing Cujo as a 6 year old. I was playing outside when all of a sudden a giant red dog named Clifford proceeded to maul me. I was torn to shreds by Clifford the Big Red (Satanic) dog and have never trusted him since.

I always have this really weird reaccuring dream. It's always the same. It always takes place in my Aunt and Uncle home which was destroyed in the flood of 1993. I always used to spend the night there when i was younger. Anyways, i'm in their bed sleeping but the weird thing is i'm looking at myself sleeping. I just stand there staring at myself almost as if i'm confused. Then all of a sudden theres a loud bang at the other end of the house and i glance down the long hall way and i see fire. The fire continues to spread through the hall and ceiling. I turn around and attempt to wake myself up but when i try to scream no sound comes out. I try to shake myself but my hands pass right through my sleeping body. I look down the hall and the fires getting closer and closer. I continue to try to scream but nothing. Soon the flames find there way into the doorway and the room is quickly engulfed in flames. I stand there and watch the flames consume the bed and then there is nothing but darkness.

I then hear knocking, not loud but persistant. I wake up in my dream and i'm lying in a hotel bed. A little sunlight is peaking through the curtains and soemone is knocking at the door telling me its time to get up. I get up and walk towrards the door which seems to be very far away. When i get to the door i ask who's there and theres just silence. I undo all the locks on the door (there is 6 of them) and i open the door and its complete emptiness... theres nothing there but darkness and thats when i always wake up.

I get a lot of recurring zombie nightmares.

I'd end up waking myself up from within the dream each time..

One time, I sent myself a package in the mail, it was addressed: "To Travis -- From Sravis" upon opening the package there was a note inside that read "Wake Up."

Other dreams would end up with a nuclear bomb going off, right at the same time as my alarm clock going off.

Either way, they're always these epic nightmares along the lines of Stephen King's The Stand.. cross country treks, massive death, huge battles, etc. One time, I saw F-16s flying through the city, low to the ground straffing zombies and then regrouping high in the sky where they formed some gigantic robot that landed and squished more zombies and knocked over buildings. I yell out for the robot to look out, and he turns around in time to see a nuclear bomb dropping from the sky and they split apart into planes again as we hide behind rubble. And as usual, my alarm clock goes off when the bomb drops.

When I was a kid I had a dream where I got scared by something in the night, I crawled over to my parents room, where they were siting but they didnt have faces, then roaches swarmed them and ate them alive, I never forgot that dream.

I had a dream of this black like gothic place. There was like this really wrinkly and skinny lady with a knife. Right when she started to cut me I started blinking. Then I woke up blinking at like 3 A.M.

Lesse...when I was about 11-12 years old, I had the same dream every night for like a month straight. There I was laying on my bed, watching tv, and then out of nowhere this really creepy black dog would bite my arm and drag me away under the bed. As he dragged me, he kept repeating "You're going to hell because you've been a naughty boy, you're going to hell because you're been a naughty boy, you're..."

Thankfully I stopped dreaming it. :/

Alright... This one might not be the most.. Appropriate for everyone, but here we go.

I had a dream last year that I went to some store with a friend. We were looking around inside for shirts and stuff, but didn't find anything we wanted. When we went out into the parking lot, it was desolate. It was around midnight, so that is understandable. But there was one car... Two girls in leather bondage gear and wearing gas masks and stuff... They were rubbing each other on the hood of the car, and being very intimate. Out of nowhere, one of their vaginas starts to like... Convulse... And this fetus comes out... Which was really fucking weird... But then, she looked me in the eyes while holding the fetus in her hands... And she started forcing it back inside of her. Needless to say I woke up freaked out, sweating. It was one of the worst and most memorable (for how twisted it was) dreams I've ever had.

I only vaguely remember this:

Much banging and thundering rose me from a deep sleep. I peered outside and spotted what must've been the worst tornado in the history of mankind. My dad, who can usually be found lying in the comfy couch, was stuck in a gigantic potato wrapped in a several-feet-thick layer of aluminum foil, and it was up to me and some random porn star to unravel him before the tornado demolished the house. Yes, if I helped him escape, the storm would magically vanish.

Unfortunately, I think I woke up from this "nightmare" before it ever concluded. But it's stuck with me for a long time.

As he was leaving he put all of the systems in the back of a truck and said lets have a bon fire with these because we can afford it. The only reason that I woke up was because of his loud evil laugh.

I always used to have this dream where Mel Gibson chased me around my bed on his motorcycle, screaming antisemitic slurs in his native Australian tongue. Then, Superman would show up, only he was actually Paul Reiser, and he would shrink me to the size of an ant and challenge me to a footrace in the Amazon. The Juggernaut was there, and he'd always be a few steps ahead of me. And there was also a friggin' Indian that threw logs and pudding from above a waterfall.

Hmmm... is it sad I have to think hard to choose just one?

The one that comes to mind, I was sitting in the passenger side of my dad's truck when this little kid runs around the corner and shoots me. I feel the bullet hit my spine and then can no longer move. The scary part is that I woke up right when the bullet hit me because someone was actually shooting a gun off down the street and for a few seconds I sat motionless thinking I had actually gotten hit and couldn't move. That and because whoever was shooting the gun kept shooting and I was hoping I didn't get caught in the crossfire...

FYI I didn't grow up in the best neighborhood so waking up to gunshots wasn't uncommon, but the way the sounds integrated into my dream that one time had me buggin...

Really it's more of a psycolgical dream I had it all my life. It's like when you go to the movie theater and see that little green go crazy with all the cell phone noise and crying telling you to be quiet, but that isn't the real thing exactly. I'm just looking at a white room and all of a sudden a line starts going crazy and it's like whole family yelling and going crazy. Always scared the shit out of me. I been dreaming it for a while though.

My craziest nightmare(s) have been dreams involving my warped head dreaming up Simpsons Halloween specials. Every now and then while I'm sleeping, I'll dream that I'm watching a Simpsons Halloween special full of carnage and gore happening to the Simpsons, and yes, the dreams will even have credits at the end (really makes me wish I could work with the Simpsons writers to make quality Halloween episodes now a days).

Everyone that meant dearest to me was being smashed into pieces like glass. The creature that did this slit everyone's throats including my mother who was pregnant while I was being smashed also, leaking blood like a plant cries water but I couldn't feel a thing you could not see the creautre it was like it was like a white shadow. This White Shadow was really a small flying robot came and destroyed everything we owned evenutally I woke up to be on death row awaiting execution. I try to desperately to escape by digging tennels climbing the walls and making and escape towards the door as it opens I ran as if I was a slave in a movie while they said get the mut or so help me god. I then woke up again to be inside a house of cats with two tigers and one panther. I open the window to let a bunch of grey cats in which fills up the place while everyone I screaming. I somehow jump out the window into a pool of liquid hot Magma that I swin threw which feels nice somehow where I reach ashore where I can see a man with his head cracked up like dry mud and he died instantly while a woman nearby stood infront of my face with her arms open calling my name. Then it just turned into anothee sex dream until she turn out to be ugly with holes and melty flesh with green like skin saying is this what you want..........

Then I woke up crying saying For the Empire!!!!!

hrm. scariest nightmare? that'd be the recurring nightmare i had for years right after gorging myself on halloween candy. i'd still be out trick or treating in my neighborhood, but there was always a heavy fog. people would have their porch light on, but wouldn't answer the door. the few that would generally already had their door open when i approached, and just stood there slightly in the doorway, just staring. scared the hell out of me as a kid, but i'll be damned if the candy wasn't still magical.

Now, this is not a collar that will explode if I remove it. No, this collar will cut my neck with a blade inside of it. And this will not severe my neck, it will simply cut one of my viens or arteries or whatnot and cause me to bleed to death. And since this collar needs to be on when the blade comes out it will not come out when the collar is being take off but thwne the collar THINKS its being taken off. So I was standing around horrfied to touch it. And the collar was chained to the cop. So I was scared to run thinking that the pressure put on the colalr would cause the baldes to activate.

I had a vivid dream when I was a kid and I was chased by a guy with a knife and brutally stabbed. Then it took kind of a comic turn that I became a ghost and was invisible to everyone so I snuck in to a movie theater. Since, I was invisible, a big fat guy then sat in my seat and I couldn't see the movie and I woke up.

I don't know if this can be considered a nightmare, but this really did happen to me.
It started just like a normal dream, I was sitting in front of the computer in my room, then I got up and walk to the kitchen to get something to drink. Just as I push open the kitchen door, everything froze, it's like time has stopped. It stayed like that for around 5 seconds, then I felt that I was awake and aware that I was still lying on my bed, but my body couldn't move. It was as if something was holding me down. I tried to scream out, but no sound. After around 8 seconds, I regained control of my body and my heart was beating very fast. It has happened to me on more than one occasion already.

my parents divorced when i was younger and i used to have many depressed thoughts thoughout the day and at night. my worst nightmare was a recurring one that stuck with me up until now.

it would always start with me as a child. as it would play out, the dream would be going fast-forward with everyone aging scene by scene. i would first see my family and then i would be going though life, elementary, high school, college and then finally to my own family. although i would see the outlines of my wife, myself and our children, i would never see their faces. they would be blurred out for some reason. still, the dream would be advancing and i would be aging and finally, my children would be getting older. the dream would always end with me viewing myself in the casket and then finally watching others placing me into the ground.

i would never see the faces of those people who were my family and watching my body placed into the ground would always get my heart racing. eventually, the nightmares would stop when i got older.

i'm much older now and the nightmare would play a couple of times more recently and i would tell my fiancee about it, but... it's still very scary to me.

My most vivid dream was apocalyptic. It was general knowledge in my dreamworld that the Earth was about a half hour away from being wiped out. Death was spreading across the globe slowly, sweeping and killing everything in its path, like an opaque veil of death. News reports would carry the story until the reporters and newstations were wiped out as well. My family was watching the tv waiting for their turn to die but I was curled up in a dark corner watching outside the window and praying in my final half hour. I could see this red fire in the distance and a thundering sound that shook the foundations of the house like an earthquake. The fire would spark up in brilliant explosions now and again with mushroom clouds of smoke hovering above.

The fear I felt was incredible. I knew death was coming and could watch its progress out the window, even as the glass shattered as the crimson death wave moved closer to our position on the map. There was no escape. The Earth was about to be swept clean and left as a charred planet of ashes, devoid of life or water or existance.

Just as the wave of flame started to consume my house and the windows were shattering from the hurricane like force I woke up. In cold, shivering sweat.

It was horrible. It was the end of the world. And it was so VERY real.

That is a real dream. I have dreamt it several times in the past 8 years. I believe it originally stemmed with the Y2K/end of the world scare and has occasionally recurred since.

12 years ago I had a dream where I was standing at the edge of a cliff looking out into the distance, when all of a sudden something pushed me from behind and I began falling to my death in slow motion and each time I would got to bed I would have the same dream, me falling to my death, but each I had the dream I would be falling faster and faster and this went on for a couple of weeks, then finely on September 12, 1993 and I will never forget that day because I finely fell to my death and woke up from my coma! that was the most scariest/craziest nightmare I had and it also happen to be my birthday! and my story made it onto the front page of the local newspaper!

True story: my wife and I were in Paris a couple of years ago and we stayed at an older hotel that was undergoing renovations. They gave us a fairly large room with a brand new bathroom and we were really happy about it.

It was late in the day after sightseeing, and we were settling down for a nap.

I was only a little tired and didn't fall asleep right away and found myself staring at the ceiling. When I finally did drift off, I felt something pressing down on my chest and I couldn't move. I wanted to get up, and for a moment was paralyzed and right before I got control of myself, it felt like there was a dog or something scampering off of me. I opened my eyes, but nothing was there.

During Desert Storm we were told about neuro, biologocial and chemical on a regular basis. There was the indication that we would encounter them, it was only a matter of time. So we drilled and drilled in these damn things, and nothing ever happened.

Now at least once a month I have a dream where a white cloud is drifting into the area. The cloud hits my lungs and I feel like I'm literally breathing fire, my eyes tear up, my nose waters, I cant see shit. I try to get out of the area, or at least cover my nose and throat, but I can't see anything, and the situation is worstening. Blood starts pours out my eyes, and covers my hands, making everything slippery. I wipe my eyes and the burning only get worse. Now, my skin feels all inchy. Not sunburn itch, but unbearable inchy- So painfull you want to die.

Then I usually wake up gasping for air, waking up my wife in the process. She tells me she going to be tired at work tomorrow as I lay in bed thinking about the dream I just had, unable to sleep.

When I was younger, I always had this really long recurring dream. It started out with me waking up in the mid-afternoon and going to the bathroom to pee. As I open the door, I am met with the eerie sight of about a dozen monkeys dancing around the toilet. Their eyes are replaced with orange slices, and they are throwing all sorts of orange things into orange toilet water. As they do this, they shout "SUPER ORANGEY!"

This sight freaks me out and I run into the hallway, but my path is obstructed by one of those...pumpkin things from Super Mario Brothers. Like, the ones that come out of the pipes and eat Mario. A laundry basket appears in my hand at some point, and I proceed to cover up the pumpkin pipe thing and continue on.

I reach the back door of my house, and run out. I am met with yet another creepy-as-hell sight: Obese translucent blue aliens that bounce around, crushing my porch.

Then I wake up.

This seems REALLY weird now that I look back on it, but it scared the crap outta me when I was younger. I had weird dreams....

Well, there's always the classic nightmare of taking a final exam I haven't studied for while in my underwear.

Actually, I occasionally have a recurring dream where I'm trying to fight my out of a zombie invasion and help friends and/or family along the way. This seriously has no connection to any games or movies, as I've had this dream every now and then for years. It's one of the reason that I have real trouble play games like Resident Evil or Dead Rising or seeing any zombie movies. Now that I think about it, I seem to have a serious phobia of zombies.

Ooo,il tell the dream i had last night cause it been bothering me all day. I dreamt about my friends mom that died earlier this year. In the dream we were outside her old house and she was drunk and couldnt get in. I opened it for her by going through a open basement window. I took her to bed so she can sleep off the liquor. Nothing sexual really but her skin was beautiful. Just stared at her for a while then woke up.


She died on the freeway in a uhaul truck that struck a semi killing all in a fireball. They were on their way back from tampa to chicago. They suspect the driver fell asleep at the wheel of the uhaul causing it to go in the other lane. I hate dreaming about dead people.

I don't know about craziest, but I know of one of the top of my head.

I only remember a specific portion of it. There was a huge spider in the backyard of the house I grew up in. I tried to get away from it, but I couldn't. Eventually, it caught up to me and bit me. My mom drove me to the hospital and when I got there the head doctor or whatever of the ER was being a bitch (it was a woman duh). So, I didn't get the anti-venom in time, and I ended up dying in my dream. I was gasping for air as I woke up and was totally freaked out. THE END

I'm sure there's some meaning behind it, but once in a while I have a nightmare where I'm running down a sidewalk and trip, and when I fall I somehow hit my front teeth on the pavement and shatter them all.

The beginning of American History X always gives me the willies because of this.

The scariest dream that I've ever had would have to be after I saw "Nightmare on Elm Street 3" when I was a kid...it was the first 'R' rated horror movie I ever saw. I had different variations of the same dream, but Freddy was always chasing me through our house. He'd never catch me, but I would always end up jumping down the steps, and hitting my head on the overhang. I'd wake up right after that. It was really weird, but it's always been the one dream that has really scared me.

once i had a dream rite after watching SAW...i was sleeping one minute and then the next i was in this dark room...a device was hooked up to my spine...i had 1 minute to get a key out of my knee...i was so scared...i saw jigsaw and he was laughing...i was bleeding from my head...i ended up opening my knee and i got the key with 7 seconds left and i struggled to unlock myself and then...the device snapped my spine in half...i was dead...

The other night I had this weird dream that kind of freaked me out.

I was in a hidden prison. It looked kind of like a high-school gymnasium that had vines and old straw and dusty stuff all over the walls. There were a total of four guys. The only two prisoners where me and this other guy. The third guy reminded me of the creature from Silent Hill that had the really big butcher knife, and a pyramid head thing. Every time I was able to walk around, I always kind of hid from him. The last guy was the only one we ever really interacted with. He carried out the executions, but because he couldn’t stand the sight of blood, he pulled the lever in another room to start the execution.

The executions where carried out using a big rusty fan blade. It was the job of the one to be executed to put the fan blades on the rotator just before his execution. I don’t know why the blades always came off, but these where the instructions he gave me. The fan was set up to come closer to the prisoner and eventually chop through the prisoner “Indiana Jones” style.

The other prisoner was going to have to clean up after “my mess”. He kept looking at me… and so I never really know if he was going to help me escape, or if he was just going to do what he was told.

The dream never really came to an end… my wife kicked me just as I was putting the fan blades on… and I woke up. She asked me why I was sweating so much, then went back to sleep.

About two weeks after going many months of not remembering a single dream I had a real freaky one. For absolutely no reason (to my knowledge) I was "Randomly" strangling people in dark rooms like something out of "Hostel". The reason I quoted "randomly" is because all the people I was choking were people I see everyday at work and friends of mine. The weird part is I like all the people I’d killed. Plus all the strangulations were overly drawn out. It wasn't like hand on neck and it was over. It seemed like actual minutes for each person, staring directly into their eyes until they turned white.

It still kind of bothers me, but counseling cost to much;)

I had this nightmare where I was running from a ghost in a haunted mansion. I hid in a closet and starting thinking about all of the opportunities I had missed out on in life because I was too scared. I decided that this time I would stand up for not just myself but others I had wronged in the past. I busted open the closet door and ran to the kitchen to pick up some kind of weapon (in this case a kitchen knife). I screamed for the ghost to come fight me like a man. Unfortunately the ghost heard me and decided to decapitate me and eat my inner organs.

I had this nightmare about 2 nights ago. My sister and I were at this town. It doesnt look like it was at NYC but it looks like a pier. So we went to look for a library. We kinda got lost for a bit and we found a building. I went in first with my sister walking behind me. It was a narrow hallway dark and gloomy. I walked forward and on my right is another hallway. I was in a maze or some sort. Once I looked right at the hallway i saw this white blurry image walked right past through to another hallway. I was like "oh shit". We ran back to the front door but it slammed shut on us.

We ran through the other hallways till we end up at the lockers which is all grimy and green. I felt like this is just like the first Silent Hill game in the school. I then found a lead pipe perfect for fighting monsters. Then I woke up. I was like "damn i wanna stay asleep, i want to know what happens." lol. it was interesting. that was the same night i went to watch Borat and Saw 3.

This is actually something that happened to me only a few weeks ago. I was lying asleep in my bed, on my back. In the dream, I felt an unseen presence jump on top of me and hold my arms down. I struggled as hard as I could, but I couldn't break free. I tried to scream, but I couldn't open my mouth. I was crying at that point and I silently begged God to help me. It was then that I awoke and found tears streaming down my face and bruises on both my forearms where I was being restrained in my dream. Scary, huh?

well my nightmare happened like this.

i wake up in the middle of the night and hear thumps and bangs. i entered the hallway outside my room and see blood stains on the walls and some leading downstairs. a scream causes me to run downstairs to see my brother and sister bloody and dead on the floor of my living room. i look up from the bodies to see a man in a welder's mask. when removed, the mask reveals myself.

When I was in college, I had a dream that I was driving to school in the middle of winter, and for some reason I had to drive up an icy mountain road, why I don't know. I took my time and made it up without incdent. On my way down the other side, I realized that I was starting to pick up speed despite gently applying the brakes. Looking up ahead, I noticed a bend in the road, and I was still accelerating. But rather than panic, I just calmly continued to try to slow down. And even as I was smashing through the guardrail, I was still as calm as could be. As the car plummeted nose down towards the ground, I could distinctly feel the sensation of falling. And to this day, I still remember the feeling of falling towards the snowy gound. They say that if you hit the ground in a falling dream, you will die in real life...well that's just not true. When I hit the ground, and could see almost in slow motion the car exploding all around me, I was suddenly thrust into consciousness, almost jumping out of bed, and ended up falling out of bed and landing flat on my face.

He was like it's so cool, you should try it out and stop making up this videogame thing. I was mad, so I told him what is it that I should try out you $$$$$$!!! And he was like it's call a book. I was like a book? Nooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!! Then I woke up.

I remember this from when I was like, 3-5 years old. I had gotten used to sleeping on the couch in our old house(because of the TV), and this was one of the rare nights that I slept in my bedroom. I guess I was trying to be a "normal" kid by sleeping in there.

So it was a weird environment, and I remember waking up and seeing Mickey Mouse in my doorway. He wasn't the cute cartoon version, he was the guy in a Mickey suit that you see at the themeparks. I was walking down an old neighborhood in california
when suddenly there was a huge shadow covering the whole street so I look up and I saw a huge pair of wings protuding from a huge cloud when bam out comes jesus christ himself, so I'm like flipping out and I look around at the other people walking when suddenly number started to appeare on peoples heads I looked over at my sibling when he had the #512 up on his head other people had there in the 900's to 1000's so as I continue to walk a huge mall like escalater appeared before me so I say to my self humm "escalater going up
go on it or stay here with people panicing" so I'm up on my way when I look over to the side and bam a huge browser window appearse with what appearse to be a flash animation and in that animation
there a crowd of people walking around and jesus landing behind what appearse to be the seatle space needle and as he is landing some highlighted character is making his/her way through the crowd to the point where once jesus has landed the highlighted character who is of asian ethnicity, when bam his/her face splits open to reveae maggots, worms,
beetles, snakes, and ozzy slush blood, so I'm just in a whole GOD DAMN mode but just then all of a sudden jesus takes off and the asain person's face goes back to normal and he/she starts going backwards through the crowd just the same way he/she made it through and jesus disappearse the browser windwo closes and the escalater stops. so I look around and then just black out to wake up on what appearse to be some kind of huge pirate ship with weird sails which had crucifixs on them
. and as I am about to actaully speak Boom I fall off my bed just nearly missing my roommates box cutter to my eye(the box vutter was on the floor near my bed)

Scariest dream I've ever had:

My brother, nephew, and I are out driving during very heavy rain. My brother's driving, I'm in the passenger seat and my nephew's in the back seat. I don't remember where we were going but that wasn't really important, just that we were on an overpass and visibility was zero - all I could see was a sheet of rain. My brother starts screaming that he can't see anything and at that moment the car veers off the overpass and after freefalling for a few seconds, we all start screaming. There's a loud crash, everything goes black... and at that moment I wake up.

I stayed up a few minutes and then fell asleep again. This time I dreamed the three of us were driving again but this time I was in the back seat listening to my brother and nephew talking. We were driving through an underpass that seemed a bit too familiar to me. All of a sudden my brother spots an accident and stops the car. We get out to see if we can help when my brother notices the car in the accident is just like ours.

At that point it hits me - I fall to the floor and shut my eyes tight and scream, "Don't look in! Don't look in!" over and over.

The dream ends with my brother screaming in horror "OH MY GOD! IT'S US!"

That's about the time I wake up screaming covered in sweat. I didn't sleep at all that night and hard a really hard time sleeping for a week.

Totally a true story. I'll never forget that dream, like it's burned in my mind. Every time I tell it, the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.
