Seeing what happened with the PS3 pre-orders, is there any news on Wii orders being cut for stores? I know Nintendo will ship out a lot more units, but you never know when they decide to cut orders especially since TRU is supposed to get more of the units.

No cuts. Sony cut their shipments cuz they cant supply enough thus screwing everyone who preordered it.

I sure as hell hope not. I was the last one, at the store I went to, to get a pre-order. I don't think the Big N is having nearly as many problems as Sony though.

they sent out the disclaimers when i pre ordered about i'm assured a unit but you never what could happen if a meteor hits the truck. however, they never alluded to any ideas of enough systems not showing up, etc. they didn't take more pre orders than they had machines i do know that.

I think the Nintendo is over-shipping... but that's unconfirmed at this point.

Here only EB games pre-orders games no other stores, and the Pre-orders were sold out before the stores were even open, it sucks. But they only Pre-ordered for 10, and said they'll get more then that. And i'm not camping at any store so at 10am sunday morning, i'll be scouting stores for Wii.
