Dude... i dont think its right that you post that stuff. The chat room is somehow setup that whatever the last stuff that was typed stays up there, but you dont have to go showing it to everyone.

I didn't post for the purpose of being "right." I intended rather to try to entice people to enter and boost attendance.
Would you rather I post another topic (with a less "catchy" title)? I'm under the impression that scandal sells and that will put up better numbers than "Come to the chat room!"
Although, this is merely conjecture, and I invite your opinion(s).

Hahaha, I think it's kinda funny. It's a public chat room, and it's not like he sneaked it from his friend's AIM, so I really don't see a problem with it.

By selling a scandal, you've sacrificed morality. I agree with Ericnmel99; your post is unethical.

Well using your logic, every newspaper in America is unethical and have sacrificed morality. Believe you me, if there was a scandal or something similar, they would be all over it in a heartbeat.
Hey, scandals are interesting and people like to read them. Like I said before, he just copied what was already in a public chat room and posted it into a public forum. Anyone who goes there can plainly see what was going on last night. Don't get so bent outta shape about it.

im not trying to be the moral police or anything. i just think that those people were probably the only people in the room and at that point were having a private conversation. But thus is the risk you have when posting in a public room i guess.

I'm going to disagree. While selling scandal may sacrifice morality, I will argue that one only sells scandal in order to gain something. The only thing I sought to gain was heightened attendance in the chatroom (chat attendance up, readership up, more CAG exposure, Cheapy's happy, etc.). I am not trying to sell this "scandal" per se, for I have nothing to gain from its widened distribution/societal cognizance. Rather, I'm using it as a means of drawing your attention to said chatroom.
Moreover, I will counter that morality and ethics are highly subjective, and therefore, within this context, moot.
If you're merely trying to be funny, then that's cool, too.

The media is a pack of unethical vultures. Some may find it interesting, but I certainly don't. To each their own, I suppose.
I agree that since the conversation was in a public chatroom, that the contents of the dialogue are public domain; I simply think that the manner in which O-Dog presented it was unethical.
I'm not really bent out of shape about it, and I'm sorry if I came across that way. I understand that people have a diverse variety of ethics, and that expecting everyone to conform to your individual stance of morality is foolish, and that it undermines the principles thereof. I was simply stating my opinion.

While I may disagree with your methods, I believe your goal to be just. You're one of those "the ends justify the means" type people, and I can respect that.

Heh, just seeing this thread, and I could care less.
Ooooo wow, he posted something anyone could've seen if they had gone into the chat. If I wanted it to be private, I wouldn't have posted it in a public chat room.
And My words were not directed at 4LessTeeth either. Check the sig VV.
