Woot! I called them and she said they're supposed to be released today so I showed up, and she got them from the back and I got 2 copies, paid by CC and walked out. Woo hoo!

It's gotta be torture to look at those two copies and not be able to play them. Congrats on the find dude!:)

Nice. I wished GS would let me pick up my copy if they gotten it in. No phone call yet though. It would save me a trip there on Sunday. I would also be able to play it earlier since I'm getting my Wii at Wal-Mart.

I doubt they will. They had 2 Wii games on the shelf when I went there and she had to go get Zelda from the back. She brought a ton of them on a cart. :D

called BB in Palo Alto, CA... they told me they aren't selling anything until Sunday for the Wii. I'm skeptical but I don't want to drive there.

I could technically get my Zelda today, but there would be no point.

You can get a $10 gift card if you buy it at CC next week (along with another game). $10 GC with 2 Wii games.

Just tried my local BB, no dice. They admitted that they have them, but they aren't releasing them until Sunday.

I think greater torture than waiting for the system is to have one of the most highly-sought-after games in years in hand and no system to play it on. Doesn't stop me from wanting to buy it, though. ;)

I know, I feel that way as well, but it's one less hassle on launch day. If I could score an extra Wiimote, Nunchuk, and component cables before launch, I would be a happy camper (literally!).
