Cue the "GameSpot is biased" discussion.
1 game in, and the Motion Sensor novelty is already starting to wear thin.

Already posted and discussed, but thanks. And you should play it first.

Several games in, and the motion sensing is looking pretty good.

Already posted and discussed, but thanks. And you should play it first.I was just briefly recapping the GS article. And COD3's review got it's own thread, but this one can't? Why, because the review isn't high enough to appease the fanboys?

Why, because the review isn't high enough to appease the fanboys?Because evilmax is trying to keep all the launch game reviews in one thread, but obviously he's not a mod and can't make people follow that.
It was actually the first review, so had it's own thread. Get over yourself, zoglog.

The CoD3 Review thread was created before being posting in the review thread. And I think most people expected the reviews ExciteTruck received.
EDIT: Too slow!

The game is way better than what the review says. EA is the devil.

and yeah, EA is pretty much entirely to blame for this review. They don't make any good games, so their suckiness permanently damaged the GS reviewer's limbic system, causing him to hate everything.

That headline is exactly what a ton of launch DS games sounded like as well - "Essentially a tech demo".
Let the companies get the "tech demos" out of the way now, I'm hoping it's like the DS where after companies get their feet wet they will bring us some great stuff.
Nobody will remember this launch stuff in a year anyways, just like nobody remembers the 360 launch games or the DS launch games (espically the DS ones, other than SM 64).

I wonder how they are rating the graphics for the Nintendo Wii...usually all the systems were pretty similar in graphics and now they're different. Do they get their graphics ratings by comparing it with the 360 and PS3 or just other Wii games?

Hopefully other Wii games. Gears of War smashes anything out right now in the graphic department and that just isn't fair.
