anyone in dallas/tx area

ran by a few places a couple minutes ago

walmart had bout 5-8 people in line
CC had three tents and one person in a chair in line
BB had around 20 or so

what do think the chances are ill get one if i decide to go get in line in about an hour. my friend works at best buy and said they were getting around 50 units in, but with all the stories about shortages, im thinkin he doesnt really know what hes talking about.

if anyone knows about the quantity any stores will be gettin in the dallas area, it would be greatly appreciated.

I saw about 10 people at Target last night. The Best Buy ad said minimum 20 per store for the 60gb and 6 20gb, and I honestly believe most best buy's will be just that and maybe the bigger ones in high volume areas could be about twice that maybe,ie the midnight release store 58 . Im just speculating so i could be completely wrong.

yeah my friend works at the BB having the midnight release off of 75, so maybe he was right. i might head over there in a little bit and check it out.

TCU has a decent amount of students running out for this...Ft. Worth *should be covered pretty well by them.

the line might be a lot longer than 20 by now though at that store anyway, but best of luck. Im gonna enjoy my ps2 for a while longer though.

anyone know if cc is doing midnight releases?

the only midnight release for CC i have heard of is not in texas but in six stores in like Los Angeles, and Newyork,etc I believe. I dont think there are any here that are, but i could be wrong

eh ohwell i guess. today is my birthday and i really dont feel like sitting in line not know if i will get one for sure.
cc sounds like the safest bet but im not camping out esp on my bday.
oh well, was gonna sell it on ebay anyways
