As much as I've used eBay, I know so little about it >.< So many things coming up recently that I've never dealt with before.

I think it is the listing fees only noy the final value fee or etc other fee. Then I think the fee for any addtional stuff like Buy it now or best offer.

If you kill all bids then cancel the auction its listing fee's only. if you end early and sell to the current high bidder, unless its a reserve auction, then youll get tagged for final value fee blah blah.

Pulling a PS3? I would (if only I had one to sell) . . .

I wonder what the fees are for starting an auction high (say over $1000) with a high BIN (say $3000)?

If you really want to know schultzed just search ebay fees on google and it will tell you. Yes they do charge you the fee's, if there is a bid on it, make sure when you cancel bids and end it, not end and sell to current high bidder.

Yeah, I am tempted to yank my PS3 and either A.) Wait and see if prices go back up or B.) Keep it. This thing is like The One Ring of Power... sitting in the corner of my room, drawing me to it...

So if I pull it now, would I only be dinged the insertion fees? What all classifies as a "listing fee"? What about the fee for having a reserve?

PULL IT and play it. Scum to that system away from people like me that have been saving up for a year. God please just play the thing and think how many of us would love to have it in our hands. I shall wait till feb :(

I actually wanted to keep it, but the eBay prices were just too sweet to ignore.

This is against the rules but:

Make a fake account
BId a crazy number
End it early
File a not buy

I wouldn't do that but only because creating an account requires a valid credit card, and the only one I have is mine.
