Just to note a few things:

- it's a performance art piece I put together for my art college

- the guy with the mustache is me

- the concept behind my art is humor, so if you feel it's stupid or dumb, then you got the point ;)

- that mustache is not real (I wish it were though)

I actually see one massive joke in this that I hope you were aware of when you thought this up.

There were alot of jokes built into this piece, so it can go in a ton of different directions. It's mainly up to the viewer to get whatever jokes they want from it :)

Ok, "box cutter". ;)

I'm actually a big fan of performance arts, and enjoy doing it myself.

That was pretty good, although I wish the setting were different.

yeah, I would have set it outside in an alley, but everyones art peices were restrained to the classroom for the day. If I ever have to redo it, it'll definityl be somewhere else.

...and yes, "Box Cutter" was one of the many jokes ;)

The Andy Kaufman in me hates it when people (as in the immediate audience) laughs at an act...

If it were done on the streets, with two cameras (one for the onlookers' disgusted faces), it would have been near perfect.

for me, I actually enjoy the initial laughs... if that were what I was going for. But yes, I know what you mean.

I was imagining a little marmot or something in the box. You make a good scary trucker dude!

If I dressed up like that more often, I'm sure I'd make it onto the local sexual predator listing :)

I was laughing but that's only because I imagined your being under weight was due to AIDS.

That was pretty funny. I can really appreciate humor like that.

And Brak, I know what you mean about the Andy Kaufman thing. It might have been better if people hated it in some weird way.

Not to thread-hijack, but has anyone ever thought that Andy Kaufman mihgt have faked his death and it's one big joke on the world? If you think about Andy and his humor, he would obviously think that it is the ultimate joke. I would love it if he came out of hiding in 20 years and laughed his ass off. Or MAYBE, he wouldn't even come out of hiding, it would just be his own, private, ultimate joke.

But anyways... OP, for real, keep up the good work!

You almost impaled yourself on the knife, and then you almost cut your balls off.

Seriously, the only thing I thought of was that you were going to hurt yourself.

I saw that when you link it in the chatroom. Pretty neat. Good Job. I was rooting for the box, lost $5 on that bet. Damn you, the box had the agility, it should've won.

Actually it looks like that one girl was coming to pick you up after you fell on the box and almost committed Seppuku.
