Options for a wired connection to the internet for the Wii?

I don't have a wireless router, but I read that you could still connect to the internet by using a USB 2.0 to Ethernet Lan Adapter. I know that Nintendo is releasing something official to take care of this, though it's not due to be released for a while.

I don't know if your adapter will work.
