A minor gripe

I was playing Wii on launch day with two other friends, and my controller was assigned as Controller 3 on their system. The person in charge of Controller 2 got tired and went to take a nap.

My gripe is that, at least in Wii Sports and Rayman, if you do anything that's 2-player, it INSISTS on using Controller 1 and 2. No way to use 1 and 3.

Am I right, or am I doing something wrong?

Press the home button, the reconnect, and then you just need to hold down the 1 and 2 buttons on your controllers to reset them as 1st and 2nd player.
