Ok, I have a few higher ticket items to put on EBAY. Although, I'm debating if I want to start at .01 or like $100 (.20 listing today)
I have some DJ equipment which should sell for $500ish and a Bose Wave Radio which might fetch $200 or so.
Any opinions, suggestions? I usually start at .01, seems like more activity...but just wanted some opinions.

How many of those same items are up on ebay at the same time? If there are dozens or hundreds, yours will be pushed to the bottom of most searches(most results are for "ending soon" until the last day anyway. If there are very few, then your $0.01 listing will be seen for the entire auction(when searched).
$.20 listings today??? Awesome
the .20 listing is for BIN

I always start at 0.99 because of the damn fees. I never ever lost an item for significantly less than I expected out of 100 or so times. Never!

My theory is either start it really low, or just use a fixed price listing.
For example if there is no way in hell that DJ Equipment is going for less than $100, you should definitely not start it at $100 instead of $0.01 IMO. Because the low start will get more action and bids from people which will hopefully mean more people watching it.

if I want to start at .01
Start at 0.99. It's the same listing fee (20 cents) as the 0.01 auction.
