Seriously, I'm confused. People are using projectors on this thing, and it works perfectly. I can sit 20 feet away, and aim iron sights perfectly at the TV and it matches up. I can do the same thing in my kitchen (closer to the TV). The Wii knows when I'm NOT aiming at the TV, but I never told it how big my TV actually is, I just put that bar on top of the TV and it magically worked perfectly. So how is it that the Wii knows how big my TV is, and simultaneously knows how big projector screens are, without telling it?

I'm pretty sure Nintendo sprinkles faerie dust inside every console, and that's how it knows.

I'm actually shocked at how well it works. I was seriously expecting it to work like light guns on the PS2. Boy was I in for a surprise, I didn't even know that it would detect speed. I'm totally amazed by this and the technology seems way beyond anything I've seen or owned and for $250 its a steal. Like you I have no idea how it works or why it works so well, but I don't care as long as the games keep me happy.
