sorry if this is old news...but i just read about it today

Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Amie revealed that the heretofore Euro- and Japan-only bundle Wii Play will, in fact, get a North American release. Speaking with GameSpot staffers in New York today, Fils-Amie said the decision had been made to bring the nine-game collection and controller pack to US gamers sometime next year. The title brings a collection of entry-level titles to the mass-market console--included in the mix are table tennis, hockey, fishing, and billiards games. No price was mentioned.

Awesome! Its like Wii sports 2 but its 45 US right? So bascially you're buying another Wiimote with a game bundled in! Cool...

Oops! I did it again.

I'd pay $50 for it with no Wiimote. Wii Play will be RIGHT up my alley. So many games I want to try.

I dont think the games are as good though if thats all there is. Although table tennis will probably own and hockey might be sweet if done right. Don't know how billiards would work though...and I'm not too fond of fishing.

i played the table tennis and billiards.

they were pretty good.

in billiards, you aim at a spot on the cue ball pull back and shoot.
it played well.

good news, didnt they also have a combo in Japan that if you bought the 50 dollar wii pts card you would get a classic controller? They should do that here as well.

Wii Play: Shooting is, especially since it includes the Duck Hunt ducks for massive damage points.

I'm really looking forward to Wii Play, since I'm really loving Wii Sports.
