i get up this morning around 845 am and see this has been readded to the webpage
http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Samsung-Camcorder-SC-D363/sem/rpsm/oid/144131/catOid/-13063/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do
At 157.99 so i order the item
around 9am est my cousin calls me and lets me know the price drops to 127.99
by the time i can get off my job and call them (they wont allow me to sit on hold for 30 mins while working) the item goes out of stock
I call them up and tell them i want a price match and they give me this total BS about the item has to be in stock (what the item was in stock at 9am)
the refuse to give the 30 bucks back. I think im just going to take it back to the store and tell them they can jam the camera up their #$##$# asses
got to love how they hired people in india and they try to make belive they are working here with avg. names. ##$#$$# CC
Also doing some reviews you see that this camera might not work certain light styles . I was told if i open the box and see if the camera would even work they will charge me a 15% restock fee.
So if i get this and the stupid piece of shit dont work i get hit with a 15% restock fee.

Oh no, wait, this was CC Online... it never ceases to amaze me the amount of problems you have whatever you're doing.

i find this interesting
THESE ARE THEIR RULES
If you've seen a lower advertised price from another local store with the same item in stock, we want to know about it. Bring it to our attention, and we'll gladly beat their price by 10% of the difference. If you see a lower advertised price (including our own sale prices) within 30 days of your purchase, we'll refund 110% of the difference.
If you see a lower advertised price (including our own sale prices) within 30 days of purchase well refund 110%
nowhere does that say item must be in stock at CC
it just says if you see the item elsewhere that ITEM MUST BE IN STOCK..
and Roufuss im not as rich and you and cant just tossed 30 bucks out the window. So when a company screws me out of 30 bucks HELL Yea im going to bitch
Another questiion isnt this the same model from Best buy

same item but
CC says item has 12 months on parts and labor
BB says item only has 90 days on labor

Everytime I've done a price match with them the item has to be in stock.

Ive done only 1 price match on CC and maybe got lucky... I bought a TV online and it was delivered, it was $1300+tax with 200 rebate(w/c I didnt qualify because I bought it a day late but fought them thru BBB and gave it to me eventually hehe)..20 days later I was browsing Target website and saw the same TV for 1200, printed the webpage and went to a B&M CC..the girl behind the counter didnt care that much..she didnt even check if it was online, just credited my credit card $110 and I was outta there quick.
So my advice, go to a B&M CC and hope you get an employee who dont really care..

copy of email i got
taxed price quantity total
Y $157.99 1 $157.99
Samsung Camcorder (SC-D363)
SAM SCD363
shows i was charged 30 bucks more
What is pissing me off more is NOONE will confirm what type of warrenty this system has. it says 12/12 on CC webpage but says 90 days 12 months on best buy.
if i knew it was a year on both i can drop the extended warrenty i got on it (since my credit card doubles the warrenty)
ALSO instore wont work cause instore the item is 289.99 and the person said he had no idea how the hell i even got it for 157 let alone 127
i guess if i really wanted to screw CC over i could keep the item and return it the day after xmas and get 289 bucks for something i paid 157 for but i wont

I don't get it. You were rich enough to spend the $157 in the first place and must have thought it was a good deal at the time.
How are you "throwing" $30 out the window when you were perfectly happy to "throw $157 at CC originally?

I can't wrap my head around it either. He was perfectly happy spending $30 in the first place, but now he's "throwing it out the window".
If you're so hard up for cash don't spend $157 in the first place.

okay if we this route then everyone is no longer to go price adjust anything they buy from now on.
if you paid 50 bucks for that game and its now 25 your not allowed to get your 25 bucks back cause you were perfectly happy in buying the game for 50

Seriously though...you spent the original amount thinking it was a good deal. So when they drop the price theyre fucking you out of 30.00? Its called hit or miss. They are screwing you around. Common knowledge is if you PM something its gotta be in stock from the store your PM'ing. You bitch about the possible quality and other random shit. How about do some fucking research and know what youre going after in the first place?
