what stores will price match the Xbox Microcenter rebate?

I wont be near a microcenter in time for the deal, which is just killing me.

But anyhow, i heard you could price match it, what do i have to show and what stores would do it?

also, assuming any stores would, will they only do it within the rebate period or could i go later in december and do it?

I have a hard time believing that stores would price-match a rebate.

No one does a rebate price-match. The rebate comes from the Manufacturer directly, so the retailer doesn't have anything to do with it monetarily.

Stores also won't price-match percentage-off deals.

If you MUST try, though: go to Wal-Mart. They're one of the only retailers who currently price-match Black Friday deals as well as no-reciept returns...and House Season 2 for the price of season 1. :) They'll be your only slim chance.

someone had brought it up in a thread about it earlier saying you could, i forget which store, one of the red ones (Compusa or Circuit City i think).

No vendor that I'm aware of will do a mail-in rebate price match. I doubt even Walmart would do it.
