That was pretty quick. Once these files get torrented or hit the newsgroups, i guess you could just dl them to your pc and transfer to your PS3?

Wow. That was quick. I'm expecting the PS3 to be as hackable as the PSP and everyone will want a "v1.5 equivalent" for homebrew purposes. Of course Sony's response will be firmware upgrades every two weeks. What a mess.

There is still no way to play them back however. Images alone are useless.

Usually takes longer to figure out how to rip, than how to play. Give it time.

not necessarily. Either way it was inevitable to happen.
The biggest deterent is the sheer space though, so it'll be pretty useless till Bluray burners are cheaper

um you can write a gamecube disc. It isnt easy but it can be done.
