Who hasnt played a Wii but wont till they get one?

Some of my friends have one and they have invited me to come over but I say no and the gamestop/EB people always want me to try it their but nope, why? I want to have that brand new experience of my own, kind of like being the first to drive that brand new car out of the lot and putting in the first mile and smelling the new car smell. I like feeling that oh-ah feeling that I never experienced before until I have it for myself. Its also funny because certain people have asked me how I feel about the wii and if I have tried it and I tell them its a great system and it something different.

I almost did that, till I broke down a week before release and played Excite Truck at EB. Still wasn't the same as having your own, though.

I did the same thing, at least with GS. Didn't play the demo unit, and waited until I had it.

Of course I had no real desire to try Excite Truck anyway.

I don't have a Wii and haven't played one, but only because I haven't had the chance to play one. Now that I think about your post, you make a good point. I don't want to try it out until I get mine. It will make that day all the better.

Its weird because I played the xbox 360 at stores and friends home before I got one and when I got one it wasn't the same, or maybe its the nintendo fanboy wanting it to be special.

But its tempting to play the wii because of what every gaming site has showed and talked about. I just got to be patient.

I was finally able to find one in best buy at a south suburb of Chicago.

Yeah, since Chicago is a big city and the stocks were low, and it seemed everyone wanted one I was unable to atain one but that changed when I found one at best buy.
