My Classic Controller came with scratches on it

So I ordered a Classic controller from Nintendo's webstore a week ago and I finally got it last night and today I noticed something really odd..

near all the buttons and d-pad and analog sticks is diagonal scratches downward....

anyone else notice this on their controller upon opening their package?

Do they look even and manufactured or like somebody actually scratched it?

I haven't gotten a controller to compare, so yeah, I dunno.

I would think so, I'm sure somebody with a controller can help you out better.
