two questions:
useable online?
do they also have a free shipping coupon that can be used in combo?

Not usable online.

Also, for Symphonia, getting the same price at EB is very YYMV. The coupon is clearly intended to be used to a select group of games on that page of the ad. you can definitely make the case in-store, but I wouldn't expect it unconditionally.
I'll be using this coupon for a copy of LaPucelle, assuming I can find it.

You know what, I work at TRU and had no idea about the coupon. Thanks!

Sweet, I just got a 50.00 TRU GC from Showtime, this'll stretch it out that much farther.
Was this coupon limited to 'Camp Geoffrey' members, whatever that is? or is it open to anyone?
Thanks

for all of you lazy CAG bums:
Not available online. Excludes diapers, formula, video game hardware and "R"US Gift Cards. Limit one per customer. The value of this coupon will be proratedin proportion to the price of the eligible items purchased at the time of redemption. In the event of a return of any item purchased using this coupon, the savings value shall be forfeited on any refunded amount. Can be used in conjunction with a manufacturer coupon, except online. Discounts taken off an entire order cannot be combined. We reserve the right to cancel any order due to unauthorized, altered, or ineligible use of a discount. Valid USA only. Void where prohibited. Void if copied. Cash value 1/100 of 1¢.
so that means you can use it on almost anything anywhere.
the only part that confuse me is that it says "Not available online." Then it says "Can be used in conjunction with a manufacturer coupon, except online."

Will it work on a game that is $49.99?
The coupon says $50.00 or more.
A penny can make all the difference.

you could include tax and argue with the manager until he gives you the deal. and he probably will back off (since it's only a penny).

Cash Value is 1/100 of $0.01 so that means, print out 500000 and you should have $50 worth of coupons! Trade em in for that video game! I dont know how much paper that costs, nor do I believe anyone would ever give you the value listed on it. For all you CAGs this is probably great! I'd love to hear from the person who tries this!
(Or print 400100 + 1 coupon and you will have the $40.01 and $10 off coupon that you can redeem for the game as well - it will save you on the paper!)

I doubt you can argue with the manager for the penny cause its probably set in the system to apply the coupon barcode on an purchase $50 or above. Try buying some gum or some candy.

the coupon states "10 instant rebate on any game on this page". Tales is on the page. The only stip on it is that you have to have the coupon at time of purchase. I personally am doing it at my store because that is how the coupon is stated. We have not got any word from home office about not using it for some on that page.

Exactly, just toss something else in there that'll get you over fifty bucks. You're still ahead.
Although since it prorates the value for each item in your order, I wonder how that looks onthe receipt--
game 49.99 minus 5.00
drink 1.09 minus 5.00
Just don't break their computer before I get to use the coupon :)
I seem to recall some arcane legalistic reason for the 'Cash value' of a coupon, although I haven't heard of anyone actually trying to 'turn them in'. And they seem to have dropped--they used to be "worth" 1/20th of a cent.
Hmm:
Q: Why do coupons indicate in the small print that they have a cash value?
A: Some state laws require that coupons have a cash value at which they can be redeemed. Most manufacturers set the value of a coupon at 1/20 of a cent. At this rate the cost of postage to send a pound of
coupons to the manufacturer would be more than their cash value.
And a longer answer:

That would only work if you live in Kansas. There is a law in KS that states a retailer or manufacturer has to give the cash face value of the coupon to the consumer if they do not want to purchase the product. Thats why they all say cash value 1/100th of $0.01.

Weird, I clicked the print button and it says "this coupon can only be printed once". Right, like there aren't a million ways around that.
July 17th, eh? When does NCAA Football 2005 come out? Will I have to preorder it to be able to use this coupon? I doubt I'll be able to do any better than $40 when this game comes out.
"The value of this coupon will be prorated in proportion to the price of the eligible items purchased at the time of redemption." What on earth does that mean?

I think that means rather than getting 10$ off the total, you'll get X off each item on your receipt [50/how many eligible items you have.]
So if you return one of twoitems, you'll get your item back in the amount of Item cost minus 5.00.

A few things:
If you're total is close to $50 the coupon will still work. For video games priced $49.99, the coupon will work no problem and you won't have to complain to a manager about it. I think anything within ten cents of $50 will allow the coupon.
If you bought a $40 item and a $10 item, it would not make the items $35 and $5, but would rather make it $32 and $8. It takes percentages and does it in proportion to the amount of items and cost of items.
If you buy a sale item that is for example $49.99 regularly but on sale for lets say $30, then you can use the coupon. This will work on items that ring up at a more expensive price and the sale is taken off after the cashier hits total. Here's a really good example of this. This week you buy a Black GBA($70) + one of the free GBA games this week(Donkey Kong, Golden Sun, or Advanced Wars 2)($20 each) + Crash Bandicoot Nitro Cart($30 regularly on sale this week for $10) then it will be around $120 before any thing is taken off. After total is hit, the free game you chose will be taken off and the Nitro Cart game will be reduced to $10 making your total $80. Then you apply the $10 off coupon, and you will be getting 2 games plus a GBA for the price of a GBA...only $70 total.
