I think amazon has his two CD's. No idea who exactly he produces for but he seems to ahve Talib Kweli in about every song.

His latest album Hi-Teknology 2: the Chip was pretty damn good IMO.
He does work with Talib Kweli quite a lot though. Have you heard their collab album Train of Thought? Good Stuff.

His first exposure was Mood's Doom album where he met Talib Kweli. This lead him to do the Blackstar album which lead him to do Talib Kweli's albums and his first Hi-Teknology album with Rawkus Records which he didn't like how it came out and he took off and did beats for 50 Cent, Snoop, The Game, Dre and Kanye West. And then he put out Hi-Teknology 2 and thats where we are at.

Oh yeah, if I remember correctly, he also had a hand in the Soundbombing 3 mixtape from Rawkus Records.

This a Hi Tek line from Kweli's Reflection Eternal. Classic material from both parties involved.

It's got to be- my man Hi-Tek & Kweli that make ya rock ya body *natti natti*
Yeah OP glad you realized this guy exists.
Check out Reflection Eternal, Hi-Teknology 1 &2, Blackstar( did most of those beats ), and there's some Hi-Tek/R.E. on Lyricists Lounge/Soundbombing.
Like some others have said Tek did some tracks for G-Unit so he's finally getting some mass appeal/recognition.:hot:

I have to admit I haven't heard the new one, but I bought that Mood album when it was a new release. Same with the first Soundbombing and all the old Rawkus stuff. I remember we couldn't wait for Black Star to come out, and then it was great. 10 years ago was a good time to like hip-hop.

People want to bash Rawkus but IMO, without them real hip hop would still be stuck in the corner as they showed people that under the crust is where you find the good shit. I am glad they they re-opened this year as they always had a knack at finding some great talent (what they've put out this year has been great).
I just wish hip hop would be back on the same level as it was 10 years (shit, I'll take the same level just 6 years ago) ago but I just don't see it happening for a long time.
