Best Wii Multiplayer game so far (other than Wii Sports)

I want to get a good multiplayer game for the Wii today, but I really havent read anything about Monkey Ball that leads me to believe the party games are better than SMB 2 which I already have. I love the look and style of Rayman, but I've heard that the minigames arent good for multiplayer. I know you have to unlock multiplayer functionality, and thats not a big deal, but I'm frankly more interested whether or not the minigames are FUN in multiplayer. If not, then I'll probably wait for WarioWare.

I should say that I will not consider ExciteTruck because I've played it and did not care for it...

Super Monkey Ball has some excellent minigames mixed in there. Yes, some are crap, but there are some real gems too.

I'll buck the trend and say... Madden? Not fit for your typical "non-gamers," but for those who pick such things up fairly quickly, it's the most fun game I've played mutliplayer yet.

Having already had a Wii Party, without a doubt Rayman takes the cake. Due to the sheer volume of crap in Monkeyball, people quickly grew tired of trying to find the decent games, so we moved on to Rayman and the rest is history.

I got rayman, but i haven't tried it multiplayer yet. The minigames are hilarious & fun though

If you like fighting games, and need something good to play with someone else, I've been having an absolute blast with Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2.

And I pretty much dislike DBZ. The game's just fun, and the controls feel so right.
