I smell a chain of music posts comming on, compliments of me, when I feel down, sad, or just depressed I like to put some upbeat punk/ska on my record player and skank to the beat, usually something like operation ivy, sound system is a great song to make you feel better.

The one CD that never fails to cheer me up is Nick Cave's Murder Ballads.

DDR music. Why? It's so damn upbeat and happy that you can't help but feel better. Now, if I'm angry, it's either Chevelle or Metallica

Whenever I feel sick, I listen to Nirvana Unplugged. When I feel sad, its usually New Found Glory's self-titled album.
When I am depressed I listen to depressing music. So I listen to old (cry in your beer) country or Bob Dylan “Time Out Of Mind” CD.

I always feel good so I don't have anything to add. I did however want to give props to MrBadEx for this suggestion. Great album!

I was furious with my parents, so I listened to Surfacing by Slipknot. Boy does that chorus cheer me up.

i listen to slightly stoopid or the expendables. Any of their stuff cheers me up saw them play a concert together and it was one of the most fun nights i have ever had. Can't be sad or mad remembering that night.
