O.K. here's the deal, You are actually buying a single Ping Pong Ball from a lot of 75 for the amount of $10.00. After recieving your payment I will then pick out a ping ball and write your User Name on it and place it in a 3 Gallon bucket. When my auction comes to its end, and I sell atleast HALF of the Ping Pong Balls (37 balls), I will then shake the bucket and pull out one and only one ball. If your Ebay name is on the ball you will receive a $200$ paypal, cash, or bank check. I promise this is not a scam. I will only be selling 75 ping pong balls, that means you have a greater than 1% chance of winning 20X your money. I will also ship the 74 losing ping pong balls to the non-winning addresses. If you happen to be the person to recieve the Prize ,I ask that you please leave me a positive feedback stating that you got it, so everyone else knows that this was not a scam. Remember I must sell atleast 37 Balls, so feel free to buy more than one. please look at my feedback it's 100% positve I never have and never will pull a scam.
Upon Payment you will be e-mailed a picture of YOUR ping pong ball, and the ball in the barrell of balls to give you an idea of the other balls at that point.
At the time of the drawing you will be e-mailed a video (if we can figure it out) of the actual drawing. THIS IS LEGITIMATE!!!

I will ship right after picking the luckyball if the Post office is still open, if not I will ship the following open day. I will be shipping PRIORITY MAIL..

Its not a scam, you will be emailed a picture of a ping pong ball with your ebay name on it. Thats worth AT LEAST $10. Not to mention you get a video of the drawing to watch with friends and family over the holiday season.

It doesn't actually have to be a scam, if he sells at least 37 balls at $10 a ball he makes $170 even with a $200 payout, after shipping out all the balls to the losers he should still make over $100 for very little work.

The ebay scammer wants to get your attention by putting "ps3" and "wii" in the title of the auction. He is actually trying to get you to get into his "raffle". I thought this deserved a thread because this is so messed up on so many levels...

Moderator: please move this thread if this is under the wrong section.

In most localities, holding a raffle requires the purchase of a license to ensure the legitimacy of the event. I know a city councilman in my city who got in trouble for having an illegal raffle becuase he failed to get a permit.

If this isn't illegal, it has to, at least, be against some ebay rule.
