I'm going to be appearing on G4's Attack of the Show today (4pm PST), discussing Sony and the PS3. I haven't been on there before, though I write reviews for X-Play and have been on stuff like Filter. I'm pretty excited. Feel free to watch and comment afterwards about what I tool I was!

(I hope this doesn't count as spam, Cheapy!)

Edit: The video can be found here: http://www.g4tv.com/attackoftheshow/videos/index.html under "The Loop: Will The PS3 Be Sony's Last Console?" Thanks to Matte for finding it!

Cool! Too bad you can't swing getting Cheapy or Wombat on the show to plug CAG...

It's at 4pm Pacific Time. Add an hour for Mountain, two for Central, and three for those other coasters -- far as I know. It's live, baby! Live.

I no longer have G4/Tech TV seeing how it sucks to begin with.

Still give a shout out to RegalSin and give a squeeze to one of the female host.

Don't forget to say that Tale Phantasia is the best RPG in the world only on the SNES.

Nice appearance, VL. You spoke clearly, your points were well articulated plus I was mesmerized by your facial hair. I give your segment a 5...out of 5.

I liked the "fight the power" fist at the end. You should have given us a *cough*CAG*cough* though.;)

Damn, if I would have log on earlier I probably would have watched it.

You just missed it! It started just about the time you posted.

Thanks, guys. It went pretty well. I hope they'll bring me back again. The "fight the power" fist is kind of an Ali G reference, which I also used here (http://www.gametrailers.com/player.php?id=10782&type=wmv), when I could say "Respect."

I'll post footage if/when it's online, unless someone beats me to it. ::fingers crossed::

Another note from the show: In the green room, there was a dude named T-Squared, who was a pro gamer. Someone else was playing, and he took the controller and wiped up. I watched him own at a random Halo 2 game online, going for an overkill (25 straight kills), playing Capture the Flag on Beaver Creek. He was just capping dudes left and right, and then decided to take the flag home in overtime (though one of his teammates snagged it when he threw it for the score). It was incredible. And here I thought Arikado was good. ;) If you want to see the stats, they're here: http://www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStats.aspx?gameID=610733685&player=G4TALENT
Note that the other guy was about 1 kill for 5 deaths before T-Squared picked up.

Did you get to meet and talk to him at all? From everything I've seen with him in it, he seemed a little arrogant, and was wondering if this was the case.

He was on MTV's True Life gamer episode. He's like the top 5 Halo players in the world.

Hopefully someone uploads the segment. Didn't find out 'til right now.

I talked to him a bit; there were only four of us in the green room. Seemed like a decent guy, in my give-everyone-benefit-of-the-doubt perspective. Thing about people who are successful at something, it's easy for them to come off as arrogant. Much like with Fata1ity, I didn't notice it with him. I tend to get along well with arrogant people, though...

Dude, I haven't seen the clip yet, but I will be nothing else but disappointed if you didn't bring your N-Gage and show that badboy off.

Hehe...you bet I had it! In fact, my homie called during the interview, and I side-talked my way through the whole segment. It went a little something like this...

Kevin Pereira: So, Justin, who's going to win the next-gen console wars?
Violent Lee: N-Gage, K-Per. Ya betta' recognize.
::pants ring/vibrate::
Violent Lee: Speak of the devil. ::answers:: Moshi moshi, bitches!

Nice job, but where was the third person who doesn't have a clue what they are talking about? Everytime I've seen one of these there was one person that came off as a retard.

Thanks for finding it, Matte. No clue about a short-bus "expert." I've only seen one of these before, and it had two of my friends in it (Wii vs. PS3, around Nov. 14). Neither is a moron, either.

Good job dude. The other guy really seemed kinda "slow" and really didn't know what he was talking about. No way will the PS3 last 9 years before the next PS.

 Thats one of the first things I noticed.

One of the other things I noticed was the other guy seemed like a complete douche. Talking with his eyes closed=smug alert :-P

In any case, it was pretty cool to watch. Good Job VL :)

Ditto on that.

In all seriousness, you did a good job on the show and you clearly knew what you were talking about... though maybe part of it is just that I happen to agree with you on pretty much all the stuff brought up.

nice! it's too bad they don't have more intelligent folk like yourself HOSTING their shows. kevin is alright, but the word 'douche' just kind of $$$$les at the back of your brain whenever he's talking. anyhow, great appearance, very well spoken and knowledgeable.

Some people get tattoos, I just do weird facial hair. Advantage is, if I don't like it, I shave it off.

Nice job. Biggest disappointment: your name isn't Lee. ;)
My middle name is -- does that count? The "Violent Lee" came from back when I was wrestling and called myself Justin "Violent" Lee.

I honestly have newfound respect for Kevin after seeing him in person, juggling topics and moderating while trying to stay entertaining. Not that I didn't respect him before, I've just never really seen him work. Believe you me, I'd accept an offer to host the show.
