Takara Tomy diffuses the first images of Naruto: Clash of Ninja EX on Wii in the Japanese magazine Shonen Jump. This new opus of the series should be presented for the first time with general public at the time of the living room Jump Festa 2007 which will be held the 16 and December 17 nearest in Tokyo. This play of action will leave towards the end the first quarter 2007 to Japan.

I lost track of the anime since they went onto to seemingly infinite filler mode. Is the anime into the later years now (or is this game based of manga)?

anime is supposed to start up again in Feb, which fits with 1st quarter of 07 so I guess by the time the game comes out it will be from both

Damn the Wii for not being region free, I might just have to get a JPN Wii for this game.

It kind of looks like Sakura is getting ready to use the Chidori in that screen shot. Anyway I wonder if we'll ever see this game over here anytime soon.

It'll be a good two years at best before we see a domestic release of this game. They try to keep the release of new games in line with whatever story arcs are airing at the time so as to keep the two correlated.

Maybe... But then again Dragon Ball GT Final Bout was released long before we ever got the show over here.

My guess is two years also (unless CN decides to skip the filler arc entirely, which isn't a bad thing at all).

need wii freeloader >< cant deal with the dubbing... plus it will take forever to come out here. GC ones are only uo to 2 out of 4, and they may not even release 3 and 4 if the GC is considered dead here.

Not really. DBZ was in syndication before Final Bout. It may not have been out on CN yet, but DBZ has been in the US forever.

They really need to get a device out so we can import. Bleach Wii and Naruto Wii are gonna be good. Wish they would of left it region free like the ds because I do a lot of importing for the ds and would like to import for the wii also. :bomb:

Agreed. I really hope Bleach gets released over here.
I loved the GC and PS2 Naruto fighting games, so I can't wait for this Wii version (assuming it gets released here)

The game is based on the anime. The anime is still in filler mode. Fillers end in January hence why everyone is in time skip clothes.

its goin to be based on the anime, but the anime is going to be non-filler when the game comes out
