I have a good set of PS2 Componenet Cables from my PS2 I could use for my PS3 but I also can hook it up via HDMI if I get a switch from Monoprice.

Will I notice that much picture quality loss if I just stick with the component cables over the HDMI ones?

Here is the TV I will be using it on:

I assume that you have another device using HDMI since you say you need a switch. If your component cables are hooked directly to the TV, but the HDMI is hooked up through a switch the component will probably look better.

Yes both HDMI ports are being used one buy my HD Cable Box, and the other by my DVD Player.

No, there is not a big difference between HDMI and Component. Only the a/v fanatics make it seem like its a big difference.

There is a difference, HDMI is digital so there is no signal degredation like in Component. HDMI is also the cheaper option anyway since it's a non proprietary port.

just cough up the few bucks for the HDMI cable.

But since PS2 component cables work fine, getting component for the PS3 isn't all that expensive.

I already have both the HDMI Cables and very good Monster Component Cables I was able to pick up at EB for $7.99, all I really need is the switch.
