It keeps telling me "You have been disconnected to the access point". I have a Linksys router that I also use with my 360. I am wondering if I am doing something wrong? The signal strength is at 100%. Thanks to anyone and everyone that can help me with this.

Do you have wireless encryption setup? How is your IP obtained Static or DHCP? Is it a B or G access point?

My IP is DHCP, and my router is B. I do have a G router, but the electricity went off the other night due to tornados, and the Power button on the Linksys Wireless G Router keeps blinking, and I have no idea how to get it to stop blinking. So I can't use it. :(

Have you gotten this resolved yet?

This is going to be really hard to troubleshoot online. The big questions are:
Do you connect for a while and then drop, or only get that error and otherwise never connect?
Does your 360 still work fine with it?

Same thing is happening to me. I have a B-router that's problem-free with my Wii, 360, DS, PSP, and laptop. Of course, the PS3 is sitting right next to the Wii and 360 (with 360 wireless adaptor, by the way). But when connecting with the PS3, I only stay connected (between 50 and 72%) for about 18 seconds, then drops...then reconnects in about 12 seconds...then drops. Lather, rinse, repeat.
If I'm playing a game, I keep getting that damn disconnection window popping up, so I've had to disable online when I want to play something. I can't even sign up for the PlayStation membership without it dropping. For some reason, though, I have about a 25% success rate trying to download firmware updates.
I'm pulling this out of my ass, but I think it has to do with PS3 not accessing the signal enough to stay connected. It's super annoying, regardless.

dunno what could be goin on. I've been through 3 routers with my ps3 and they've all worked. Netgear b wireless, Netgear g wireless, and Buffalo g wireless (with tomato)

Ok so my PS3 wireless experience has been, well, terrible. I have a netgear mr814v2. Now get this. If I'm downloading something, it works great. If I'm sitting there, it disconnects every 15 seconds or so. I tried disabling my SSID, adding the PS3 to the DMZ, everything suggested, and it still doesn't work.

One of two things fixed the problem for me: There was a firmware update that strengthened the console's connection, and I got a new router. My Linksys was a few years old, and apparently too damn old for something as hot-shit as the PS3.
