Gamerscore doesn't count?

I just connected my 360 to Live for the first time, but it says my Gamerscore is 0 when it should be 450. Do achievements unlocked while not connected to Live not count? if so, that'd be pretty bogus, especially after spending all that time on Oblivion.

They count when not hooked to live. I beat GRAW not on live then the next time I got on live my GS was updated.

Make sure the achievements are on the specific account. I unlocked the first couple of Hexic HD without properly signing in, only to have them not show up.

Or play the game again. Maybe they didn't load for some reason.

They count with or without Live/Gold. You should still have Live Silver afterall.

they'll upload eventually, getting achievements offline take a while to show up online for some reason. i remember that happened to me last year.

I thought the points were used for XBL marketplace, which is why I want them.

I wish Microsoft would give away points for your GC. Maybe 500 points for every 1000 gamer score points you have. That would really get people to buy more games.

No. Kaijufan is just expressing a desire for Microsoft to take that route.

I'd like to see the "Stalk Market" a la Animal Crossing. You can trade in your points, but their value varies day by day. After six months, the gamerscore points can no longer be traded in.

Gamerscore are just another reflection of achievements. And your achievements should sync with live, just give it time.
