Please don't think this is a troll post.
My friend got a new 360 tonight and I have just read that the update is bricking a lot of people's 360s. (I haven't run into that trouble yet)
Does anyone have a definitive explanation or link with more info I can send him before he hooks it up and possibly destroys his new system?
I know it has something to do with your resolution or cables or something.
We were really looking foward to playing some co-op tonight, but I dont want to advise him to update if his tv/resolution combo is the unlucky one.
The xboxlive forums are hopelessly full of confusing flames and not really any clear answers. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
EDIT: ok thanks guys, I couldn't find much info on the problem . I'll advise him to go ahead and update.
