That's not that good. At BB GBP is $45 with GGC and Wavebird is $25 with GGC (you may have to price match it with a Target or CC ad to get it to $30).

On a side not anyone that has a cube and does not have a wavebird and GBP is really missing out on two great accessories.

I think you missed the point. You get a FREE memory card with CheapyD's deal.

I'm really not that keen on the wavebird. I know everyone says it is great, and I probably would love it if I tried it, but I just think I'd miss the rumble.

I'd like a GBP, but there is no way I am paying close to $50 for it when I know it was once free with the console. I just can't bring myself to do it. I'd probably be willing to go $25-$30 for it, but that is just me (well, it probably isn't just me).

P.S. I hate Walmart.com (they have screwed up all my orders, charge tax, shipping, and tax on the shipping, and getting a refund for the full amount had me standing at the CS counter for 45 minutes (there was no line when I showed up, surprisingly, but it was 45 minutes from when I started the process until I had my money)), and I have recently made the decision to avoid shopping at Walmart and Sam's Club because I don't want to support the company and their unethical business practices. Wish me luck.

You need the rumble in the controller. I'm telling you, wires or not I need to feel the control vibrate, it's like getting as back massage without the "happy ending" I'd just be feeling like I was missing something.

By the time you pay for shipping its not free any more. Just go to BB and get a 251 mem card or Nyko 64Mb card for $15 with the GGC and you will still be better off.

I also hate wal-mart. I ordered an electronic drum set for my brother for xmas and they sent it in its normal box (with pics of the item) and just slapped the address label on it. Fortunately he didn't sign for his own present. I got a refund on my shipping, but don't think I will order there again.

Sounds like neither of you have used the Wavebird (or used it very little). I felt the exact same way you did until I bought my WB. I guarantee you won't miss the rumble. The only people who miss the rumble are those who started gaming in the last five years.

Ah, well you didn't say that before. Bad experiences always tend to jade even the Cheapest Ass Gamer. :D

I didn't see the free shipping, so that makes it a little better. But I really didn't like what happened to me, even though the customer support was great.

Yeah, I think it was pretty clear that I haven't.

Also, the free shipping is for Computers4Sure, not for the package at Walmart.com.

Am I th only one who has never had a problem shopping with Walmart.com?

Pretty decent deal. I would be all over it if I didn't already have a GB Player (thanks to the Walmart bundle) and about a dozen GC memory cards. :)

Wal-mart does have some good deals. I remember when they had a GameCube and GBP for $99 when the price dropped. Of course they sold out in about 5 seconds.

I started gaming way more than 5 years ago and I miss the rumble on the normal controllers when I was playing Wavebird so I bought a spice controller.

Exactly my thoughts. The Wavebird wins hands down as THE BEST controller, IMHO. ^_^

The wavebird rocks -try using it from across your apartment or house! I wouldn't use it for games like Zelda when you need to feel a rumble, but it'd definately a must-have for parties. CheapyD's deal is a good one, but Wal-Mart is a tool of the Devil.

I can picture you standing in another room yelling "Is it working, is Mario Jumping? WEEEE!!!"
