So I've got a $50 Amazon GC, and I'm wondering what I should get. XIII for ten bucks is good, so that's on there. I've got about $15 extra cash as well, and probably some more on the way (I hope).

EDIT: Made up my mind today and ordered Maximo vs. Army of Zin and Mega Man X7 (yes, I *have* played it.. its not that bad, I don't think). Going to order a Marware iPod case later today :D

Just kidding. In all seriousness, .hack would have been a mediocre game released as one game; separately, it is a complete ripoff even at $30 a volume and $20 for the first.

.hack is pretty good. A little confusing in the beginning but after that it is fun. Just remember that is is a 4 part story so you will end up buying all 4 eventually if you like it. Part 1 is only 20 now so you can try it out cheap, the rest are 30 or so.

Command and Conquer Generals, if you dig the series as it appears you do, you might want to give it a shot.

Also, can't go wrong with UT 04 on the PC front.

For XBOX, possibly Project Gotham 2 or Ralisport 2, both quality games, especially with the recent price drop of Rallisport 2.
