first thread I made in the deal forum!!

I was at gamestop this morning following a job interview and the dude working there had a big receipt list and whatnot and he said like

"hey. Nightshade is $20 now."

and the woman working there was like

"really? I should get one"

and then the guy was like

"oh. R Type Final too."

so I walked to the PS2 section and saw the price tags with my own eyes!! :shock:

so yah. they seem universal for all gamestops, but the website only sells used ones, not new copies like B&M

For those who don't have an EB around them, and want this game badly.
Personally I'm gonna wait till it hits $10 or less, much like most Sega titles these days. I heard Nightshade did worst then Shinobi in sales.

Finally Nightshade is coming down , doesn't matter how the game sold as long as the content is good.

Aye, I was refering to a price standpoint, not game quality. If a game doesn't meet sales expectations It's bound to drop. Most Sega titles drop pretty quick, outside of their Sports games. Took HOD3 forever to drop but it still dropped.

pretty much almost any game is worth 10 bucks....if you have even a remote interest in it I would pick it up

i have a little extra cash then maybe some other CAG's and i'm starting to become kinda a colector

Yeap which is why I'm waiting for it to drop even lower, whether It's used or new :)

Shinobi owned and was well worth my 50 dollars. I would have immediately dropped 50 on Kunoichi if I hadn't observed SEGA state they were going to change things up.

Whether or not they did I've heard different things, but I'll probably pick it up now.

Any word on if this is a universal drop? R-type is so badass that I paid retail on launch date to get it, but Nightshade at $14.99 after a GGC coupon would be sweet if Best Buy had it.

Sup Sartori? This is the old Denton from GTZ.

The price for R-Type is really tempting. Kickass game for the SNES back then =)

Can anyone also tell me what B&M means?

Nightshade looks like its universal cause its also $20 at J&R on Amazon.com, think I'll just wait on it cause I didn't like the demo too much

Good news, I've been wanting to play Nightshade and Shinobi for a long time - is it recommended that you play Shinobi first or is it no big deal?

I've been waiting for Rtype to drop in price. Guess I'll stop by my local GS tomorrow to get it.

Nightshade=Succesor to Shinobi
Shinobi=awesome
Now, i haven't heard much of it, but can a=c in this case and Nightshade=awesome?

For the people who can't read through babble, is it worth picking up at 20 bones if i enjoyed Shinobi?

Nightshade is still $29.99 at BB. No $15 GGC. Thats the price I'm waiting for.

The lock on system sucked ass in Nightshade not to mention the levels where you had to jump from submarine to another.

Yup, let Shinobi break you and then move on to Nightshade. A lot of people have told me that if you have completed shinobi on Super Hard, Nightshade is a walk in the park.
