Anyone know where I can order cheap (in price, not necessarily quality) wine glasses? I tried IKEA, but they don't have them available online. Also tried Wal-Mart and Target, but they weren't really cheap ($10 for only 4...or in the case of Target, $40!).
Thanks.

I'm not sure where you reside geographically, but I would try Meijer if possible. I was able to get 6 red wine glasses and 6 white for around $12-$14 total. The $10 for 4 isn't bad though if it's the best deal you can find.

No Meijer near me. Yeah, $10 for 4 isn't TOO bad, but I just need them to host a single party. I probably won't use them much at all after, so I'm looking for the cheapest I can get.
How about plastic from your local grocery store?

Target has some very cheap target-brand wine glasses. Don't know the exact price, but the last time I was there they were on sale and it was a good price.

One must be very careful while selecting an inexpensive set of wine glasses. If you cut to drastically in this area the flavor and aroma of most fine boxed wines are reduced exponentially. :-)

If you have a Dollar Tree near you, go there. I just got four wine glasses for $4 yesterday.

I hate to say it to give away the secret but...
Goodwill or Salvation Army. Basically these places take donations and put items out on the shelf for all to take a shot at. I've been able to buy crystal glasses of all variety for about $2 a piece and after a good washing they're perfectly good. Just watch out for foggy glasses as that means that the crystal has a hairline crack that you'll almost never see unless you go at them with a magnifying glass and you can't fix them. Crystal glasses can be identified easily by flicking them with your fingernail. Glass has a rather dull note while crystal will give you more of a bell-tone.
