I was in Best Buy today to make use of the 12% off coupon they sent out for this weekend and I saw that the Westinghouse LTV-32w6 was on sale for $699.99 from $899.99 and with the 12% off it came to $615.99 so I jumped on it. And I have to say I'm very pleased so far. The picture quality is great with HD video and with 360 games. I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality with a standard def cable box, obviously it's not great but I've seen far worse many times, I'm planning on switching my box to an HD one once I finished viewing all the stuf I have on the DVR of my current box. Plus I have no dead pixels so that's makes me really happy.

The TV features 1 HDMI, 2 Component, 1 Composite, 1 S-Video, 1 VGA and 1 Coax.

Here are some shots i took with my old crappy camera, despite the crappy camera (which has a few dead pixels in the CCD), I think the quality of the picture still manages to shine through.

PGR3 (Race) (http://members.cox.net/zasalamel/pgr3r.jpg)

Note: I have the backlight down to 25/50 on these shots.

Anyway I think I got a good deal and I'm very happy with the set so far. I'm sorry if this has already been posted but I didn't see it.

As a note, if you are going to be doing any 480 playing/watching on this, good luck. This TV can't handle it for shit. HD stuff looks great, everything else isn't worth watching on it.

Like I said in my experience the 480i picture from my cable box looks pretty decent. I have friends that have HDTVs and their standard cable looks way worse than this. This is very watchable. For gaming though I will definitely agree, I tried some FFXII earlier and it looked horrible. I'm hoping Sony will update the PS3 with upscaling of PS2 games in the near future. Compatible XBOX games played in the 360 look pretty good with the upscale though not all of them support the widescreen.

They've had this same TV, or the various 32" westinghouse models for as low as $549 in the past few weeks. Last week they had the model up from this for $599.

lol that was hardly the model up, it had a slightly higher contrast ratio but it was one of those cheap limited models that they put out just for the holiday season. I was a manager at a retailer and let me just say that the return rate for special seasonal models like that is astronomical. I'd much rather pay a little more and get the standard model that the manufacturer makes all year round and will support. Already that W3213 HD is missing in a lot of the listings at the Westinghouse site, in 3-4 months it will be gone altogether.

615.99 ??? Well the thing about the other deal was that it some people got it to stack with the 12% coupon. So
549 * .88 = 484 + tax

So its about 100$ difference which could be a 1 year replacement plan.

I do get what you are saying.

I get what you're saying but also I live in Vegas and here all 3 Best Buys sold out of that W3213 HD model right when they opened on Black Friday. I would have needed to get in line early Thanksgiving night to get one and for me it's worth the $100 to:

-enjoy Thanksgiving and be able to get up late the next day
-walk-in the store when it wasn't overcrowded
-get a non-seasonal model
