Learn torque and your games will kick ass. It's an already kick ass engine (been using it for 2 years already) and the fact that it's mostly free initially, will be great.

it's free, but if you want to transfer the stuff onto a 360, it's $99

I haven't read anything into it, I just know the general idea of what it is.
Soo.. do you need any knowledge in creating games/programming? If it's a simple program to use, then I'd jump on it. But I don't have any technical skills.. so :(

Yeah, I'm like that too. I've got plenty of ideas, just not the knowledge required. Is this a steep learning curve we're looking at here?

yep.
and yes, you gotta code and educate yourself, but the engien does 80% of the legwork for you.

You can subscribe to a thread without typing in it. There should be the option under Thread Tools at the top of the thread itself.

wrong. go fiddle with the torque shader engine for a bit and tell me your opinion after that.

There are tools out there that will let you program games with 0 coding, but I'm not saying anymore.
