Absolutely, it totally lost it's edge.

The show South Park was never quite as funny as it's first few episodes, but the show matured into a libertarian parody of current events.

However Family Guy has just devolved from mile-a-minute cartoon slapstick and tv show parody brilliance to drawn-out one-note jokes and recycling the same old shock-humor gags.

Ok here's the love for Frisky Dingo, Metalocalypse, and Sealab 2021. Not AS shows sucks.
Dragonforce also needs to be showed some loving. Best guitars out there.
Nicklebacks overrated and any new hip-hop artist.
Night of the Living Dead also needs some more light shined on it. Watch the original and then the remake, you'll love both.

It's not to say some of the music I listed isn't good, but it's blown way out of proportion by how high people hold them.
TV Show - 24, Prison Break, repeat ad naseum. Booooooring.

Movies - Syriana. I watched it for the first time a little while ago, expecting to love it. At least, I think that's what I watched. For all I know, it was a bunch of unrelated video clips spliced together with images of George Clooney edited in via green-screen.

TV: A-Team. Mr.T is cool, everything else about that show sucked. Sucks now, sucked then.

Movies: 2001 - A Space Odyessy (Christ, people act like if you hate it, you dont get it. Stanley Kubrick is my favorite director, but that movie was terrible.)

Movies - LOTR by far. Look at Clerks 2 for the reason. Spiderman 2 - Superman 2 rip off. 3 better be good. Also, whoever didn't like Syria probably couldn't get into it, it's okay, I know it's not a mainstream movie.

TV - Not sure, only watch a couple shows. BSG and 24 are the best. Whoever said 24 sucks should be shot.

Movies - Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Carribean, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, this one has way too many to list

And as for underrated, I think traditional animation [meaning either cartoons or anime] is underrated: adults can take "comedy" animation seriously but mock any attempt at an actual plot and character. As for music, I think anything purely pop is horribly underrated: seems these days unless you are producing "rock" or "urban", you aren't anybody worth listening to. As for movies, a whole lot of movies get underrated, of all genre. I think the problem is that there's way too much of one genre these days: CG animated movies about animals that can talk, and "scariest movie of the year" types.

I almost cried when I saw Mr. Show and Arrested Development, I can understant Arrested as alot of people like the show, but no one even knows about Mr. Show!
