Seems quite low? It seems the value of the PS3 has dropped to almost near retail price. And probably even more since I heard there are more shipments of ps3 going out.

Kinda feel sorry for those who horded 20 ps3s. Actually not really -_-

I've sold two Ps3s on Craigslist, $700 for 20GBs. Ebay is definitely not the way to go right now.

Too many people bought into the hype of trying to sell the thing for psychotic aftermarket prices, Half the units bought on launch day went to ebayers and they all screwed themselves by flodding the market and to further hurt the market Sony held back units to release later and bleed off the ebayers market. It's harder to sell a system for a thousand bucks when you can just walk tot he store and buy one at lunch time (if you're there for the delivery that is).

Remember Christmas is Next monday, most people who wanted to buy one would want it in the mail by now. I would not be suprised if prices take a dit and then shoot back up to slightly higher than this when christmas cash hits the market on tuesday.

I dunno about that. A lot of people speculated that prices would go down after the first few days on ebay, but shoot back up around mid december (nowish) because people would crave one for Christmas after not being able to find it anywhere else. People were saying that'd it'd be back up over a grand due to the Christmas rush.

Yeah, okay. My friend got screwed over pretty bad because he decided to first try and sell his two PS3s for 2500 a piece, and then sat on them when they didn't sell for this supposed Christmas rush. Instead, he ended up selling his systems for less than a grand a piece, with an extra controller and two games for each one, to local guys. He barely made any profit.

All I'm saying is, once x-mas is over, I think a lot of people would be content to wait for a system, knowing that at the very least, the Christmas rush would die down (and hopefully, demand with it), instead of buying one on ebay for more than what it's worth. I'm just glad I sold my one PS3 on launch for a tidy profit - which helped fuel my Christmas shopping and Child's Play giving.

In other news, I have a 20 gb I'd like to get rid of for cost (scored a Wii!) if anyone is interested. If not, does anyone know if I can take it back to GameStop? I picked it up on launch day if that makes a difference (still sealed)

If it's sealed and you have the receipt, you should be able to take it back to Gamestop no problem
