Need Help With Wireless Connection

ok so i set up the ps3 on wireless and lke every 10-15 sec it says dissconnected when it really has not. such as i am using web browser after 25 secs i press next page it say at the top disconnected. i refresh and bam its working. The problem is my ps3 seems to be really dropping the connection and then picking it back up anyone got any advice i don't have this problem with anything else. its also a linksys router

You're not the only one. As I said in the above post, my Linksys router works for everything BUT PS3. It'd be nice to have these all in one thread, and maybe actually find someone who's overcome the problem to help us out.

I read on the SCEA forums that just changing the ip settings on the router and set it up manually on the ps3 works, but i did that and its still not working. But from reading that thread maybe ps3 just doesn't support B routers:lol: i keep looking for support online and i only saw one other site someone had this problem.

I've basically given up, and think I just need a new router. Mine is at couple years old at least. Would've bought one last night, but a friend promised to hook me up with his spare new one. I can wait a bit.
