I have a feeling that it's going to be pulled, you have to provide an actual photo with receipt. Right?

Damn son! Your losing around $140 with all the fees. I saw your thread about losing $150 to that CAG trade so I personally hope you don't go through with this. Maybe you can say that the auction wasn't valid because you didn't disclose the picture of the PS3 and receipt?

Ouch, big time ouch.

This is why I cannot bring myself to list my last ps3 on ebay. I'm going to likely just return it to Walmart so they can add it to the rest of the ps3's collecting dust on their shelves.

Yeah, that's the spirit Kendro, encourage him to be deceitful. NOT.

Seriously though, Ebaying your stuff is a gamble; I'm sure the OP did not put his auction up to lose money, however that is the risk you take when you list with them.

Simply saying, "no fair" because you didn't get what you thought you would in a NR auction, and then lying about why you can't sell the item you fucking listed with NR in the first place is not only cowardly, it is illegal (per Ebay rules), and at the very least should ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY NOT be encouraged or condoned by anyone who thinks themselves an honest, trustworthy, or bottomline: a human being with a system of morals.

OP, I'm sorry to hear that your auction went for lower than retail, but that's the risk you took when you listed it with NR. I hope you do the right thing and sell the item to the winner, and chalk this up as a lesson for next time.

And as far as Kendro is concerned, you are EXACTLY what is wrong with Ebay. I sincerely fucking hope you try pulling that shit on a buyer and he sends your ass a NPB; knowing that a deceitful scammer was closer to being booted would make my Christmas wish come true.

Point taken Veritas. I'm not really trying to encourage it for anyone who loses money in an auction. I just felt bad because a CAG ripped him off of $150 in this thread here:

http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=120679

Basically he's down $300 just like that.

If auction goes over 1200 i will throw in 2 games and if it tops 1500 i will add extra goodies and free shipping.

You seriously expected 1200?

Thanks for the link, Kendro, I just read it and that is bad.

OP, just remember; things can't get worse; you can only have good luck from here on out.

Good save, completely 100% in violation of eBay policy, but good save.

On a side note, I hate people who use duplicate accounts or their buddies to jack up prices. Pisses me off and completely defeats the purpose of an auction.

That's why I never get caught up in a bidding war. I only commit to one price that I want to pay and never look at the auction until its over. I usually win about 50% of the crap that I want this way.

yea i just want to get rid of it and not lose money so thats why i put 800 so if it was 700 or 750 i can offer second chance but def did not expect profit on that

Instead of trying to artificially jack up prices using friends, you should use eBay in a manner that's in line with their terms of service - that is, use a reserve price.

Also, sentences have to end sometime.

It's no wonder the auction only ended at $535, you only have 21 feedback with 92%. That's not going to do much for other's confidence even if those negs are from sellers.

I don't think anyone on these forums will ever bid on your items again, after that "shill" remark.

He had his "friend" put in a bid of $800 for it, but nobody else went over $535...thus, that's the price it ended at. This is known as "shill bidding" and it is against ebay rules (probably the worst thing a seller can do).
