I wish they would have a good deal on the xbox or game cube version.

Another thread mentioned Spider man 2 has a $15 GC by mail at Bestbuy. Combine that with GGC, it should bring it down to $30. Even better.

Or they have a 5 off coupon in a free magazine they are giving out (Courtasy of Gamepro the coupon is on page 15). I know that is what I did.

In any case, the game's been getting really good reviews, so this sounds like a decent deal... Too bad it's the PS2 version, though.

Game Spot only gave it a 7.1(I think) but IGN gave it a 9.0. It's a big difference. I was guprised that GS gave it such a low score compared to other review scores.

I would trust Gamespot more than Ign cause usually IGN gives most "Blockbuster" games a really good score. Gamespot gets down to the knitty-gritty when they review a title.

I usually hang out at the Gamespot forums, and I have to say I was surprised at the review. First of all, it was reviewed by a person who most of us there don't like because he reviews like crap. His name is Jeff. I never trust his reviews. And you know it's kinda wierd when Gamespot gave the game it's lowest score when IGN and other places gave it ia much better score. And about GS getting down to the knitty-gritty, the IGN review was much more detailed than the Gamespot version. The IGN review was about 4 or 5 pages. The Gamespot one was only 2. Uh.... yea...

gamespot's socring scale is different from ign's. in general, gamespot's score will be lower, if you compare it side by side to ign.

it is supposed to be in store at frys for $30. Price match that at best buy and use the gamer card to bring the price down to $25. If best buy is giving out $15 off coupons, get the price down to *gasp* $10?!? YMMV on that.

It's a shame that Outpost's shipping charges make this deal almost not worthwhile at all, especially considering the BB price after you consider the gift card.

You wont be able to get the price match AND the gift card BB, i can almost guarantee that ... but then again, you never know. Is there an in store ad that says its 29.99 at Fry's?
