Picked up 2 mint copies of Crash Nitro Kart but that's it. I am thinking of stopping by another GS on the way home, but I wonder if the guides will even be 1 cent there. In the past 1 cent guides were still 1st place there. Anyone know if this is 100% across the board?

I was able to grab Metroid: Zero Mission. The look on the cashier's face was priceless.

I couldn't find anything else on the list there besides Legend of Zelda Windwalker. Unfortunately, I already have that so I left it for another lucky gamer.

They might have been used, although they have $1.99 stickers on the used guides in GS stores near me. I've actually gotten PN03, VJ and OT for 0.01 there so I know those were pennied out a while ago (and posted on the original 0.01 guides thread).

i am very upset. i went to check out this deal at the closest Gamestop, about 20 minutes away. what a wasted trip! I pulled a couple of the guides that should be a penny, but he wouldn't give them to me for a penny. he told me, "we accept used guides as trade-in credit, so it wouldn't make sense for us to sell you strategy guides for a penny, just so you could trade them back in for store credit." I ended up going home with none.

and there were 10-15 guides I found that were on the .01 list!!!

1 cent guides are always YMMV nomatter what because the stores can refuse to sell them to you. It is at 90% of gamestops probably and will eventually get to the rest, but one of the gamestops near me also is very slow to have them drop to 1 cent.

I went to Gamestop and ask the clerk to check YU GI OH DUNGEON DICE monster guide. The clerk pause for a bit looking at the screen and then answered: "It's $14.99".

I think he's looking at a $0.01 price on the screen and surprised, then try to make up a price.
