edit: Bundle still works if you remove controller from cart, so 50$ cheaper.

I must admit that I'm surprised that you can get a 60GB with such a minimal bundle. Makes me kind of regret getting a 20GB in a bigger bundle a couple of weeks ago.

I did the same thing. In fact, my mother was going to get me one from Best Buy a couple of days ago. She had a 60GB in her hands and wanted me to go in half, but I'm just broke. And I'm still not convinced on ever getting a PS3.

Yeah, I can't even make myself get interested in one. I just "won" a 20GB PS3 NIB with Target gift receipt from eBay for $500 shipped (saves me tax, anyway), and after I won it, I decided I don't really even care to open it and try it. I'll probably just resell it once I get it, to get my money back out of it. I was interested in the 360 launch, although I've since sold my 360, and I'm curious to try out the Wii once my sons open each of theirs at Christmas, but I can't really muster any real interest in any of the three new-gen consoles. I guess my console gaming itch may finally be dying for good. There are enough games for my PC that I'll play, along with arcade and classic console emulation, to keep my gaming interest satisfied.

Wierd how things change in a matter of months.I was able to get mine at EB the Wednesday after launch..kind of an impulse buy and I regret spending the 600 bucks because I was going to ebay it, but prices had already dropped by then. On the other hand, I've been enjoying Resistance, watching alot of Bluray movies and catching up on PS2 titles I missed until some more games come out.

I can wait till February to pick mine up. I definitely don't want NBA07 and I'm not paying more than $600 for the system.

you know i actually found two 20gb's sitting at target the other day and even with the ebay prices, i couldn't bring myself to buy them. i guess it was then that i realized sony had lost me.

Ditto. I toyed with putting one in my cart and realized I just didn't care. Too bad they don't have any Wiis. I need to find another one for a relative.

haha, same story here. I had one in the cart w/ memory card adaptor and 2nd controller removed. 636 shipped to my door tomorrow, and yet i dont want one. <3 360 and Wii too much :) Thanks OP

I did the same thing a couple weeks ago when amazon had the 20 gb in stock. I added it, put in all my credit card info and then just sat there thinking, you know I don't really even want this. I ended up getting a Wii a week after that though :)

This pretty much sums up the holiday video game market. A thread about PS3s being in stock at circuit city and someone posts that they're pissed that they missed the Wiis that were in stock earlier...

Geez, a lot of negativity here. It's true that the PS3 doesn't have the most compelling lineup right now, but then again most launches aren't great in that regard. If you have a 360, there's not a lot for the PS3 that you don't have access to already, but it's just a matter of time before the big exclusive titles come out.
For the record, I think I like my PS3 better than my Wii, although that's partially because I'm enjoying Blu-ray movies in addition to the games.
