Zelda would be an interesting pick-up, as my Gamefly trial ends in a few days so I have to send my copy back soon. It's hard to say - I walked into Best Buy yesterday morning at 10:30, and to my surprise, they were just carting out a cart full of Wiis (about 10-15), saying they just got them around 10:25. By 10:40, they were all gone.

In short - It's going to be hit or miss as to whether or not they have them on the 31st or not.

Would be easiest to wait one day, IMO. Some times, they'll do a PM like that after the fact, other times, they won't.

Picked up R6 when Amazon had it for $40 weeks before it released. I still have yet to open it. My backlog of gamesis growing and my freetime is steadily shrinking. This is not good.

Had Best Buy price match Gun for $5, they were a bit miffed that they might have to give me a fifteen dollar discount so they had to call over about 3 different employees. But it beats having to shop at Circuit City.

Probably an eBayer. I saw the same thing at CC. There's basically no risk for ebayers since you can just return it if nobody wants them.

This kind of thing is complete bullshit. I was at BB a few days ago, and saw two PS3s returned while I was there. The guy just put them back on the shelf. He asked if I wanted one, I just gave him a WTF look and pulled the half torn top flap up on the box.
One box looked ok I guess, but I saw the stuff being pulled from the box before it was accepted as returned. Do the components not come in bags? Because I just saw wires being pulled from the box wadded up.

Who knows the exact reason these were returned, but I can tell you, if I was going to put down $600+ on a video game, it wouldn't be those two that were just returned. Maybe the guy just took the stuff out before returning it, just so he didn't have to go with the EBay story, but still....

AZPunisher, about your Gun question. I have it for the 360, and I don't seem to have any problems with it. Then again, I haven't been all the way through it yet. It plays and looks ok to me.

Yeah, the "issue" was just whining that it was the same game as the Playstation 2/'Cube/X-Box version and not designed from the ground up for the 360. It's not a real issue.

I was unsuccessful as well. according to the manager, the coupon is valid only on the 49.99 regular price and not on the discounted price. ive done it before with gears of war at the same circuit city with the same cashier. ill probably try my luck at a different one.

Thanks Speedy, picked up Zelda for $40 after taxes. Tried to use the coupon, but the cashier clearly pointed out "only original coupons will be accepted." Oh well I knew it'd be YMMV anyway so it was worth a shot since I wasn't able to find the Buyer's Guide coupon book in-store.

ahhh shaq-fu -_- I went to CC to get Zelda. Anyways, the clerk tried and typed in the coupon, but it happened to charge me $44.99 for the game after she typed it in. What the coupon did was automatically charge me $44.99.... Anyways, went to BB to get a PM for the game. Did so, but the $5 GGC coupon didn't work either... The clerk was smart 'cause he "carefully" read the terms and conditions on the coupon :X Oh well, at least I have a $5 coupon for my next video game purchase over @ BB.

Well i was at Best Buy to exchange a defective DVD and whilst there i tried to PM 'Fable - The Lost Chapters' & 'Rise of Nation Gold' both for the PC, and they refused to PM them citing that they can't PM below their cost!!.. what a crock. Best Buy sucks

One thing to remember about BB in-store availabilites. Just because the website says it's not in stock doesn't necessarily mean that it's out of stock. If someone did an in-store pickup order and the runner couldn't find it, he'll mark the item as "no pick", which will remove it as being in-store for that store on the website.

The store might have it, worst case they don't. If you think your store might have it, call the store and give them the 7-digit SKU # for the item and have them check their computer for it.

Well, I'd like to say that I just got Guitar Hero 2 for $32.49 plus tax. I used a printed coupon, and even after looking at the coupon for a while, the guy that rang me up just subtracted $5 from the sale price at the register. Didn't scan the coupon or anything, just tossed it after he was done.

Got a rain check from BB for R6: V, so they will let me know as soon as they get one, hold one for me at customer service, and sell it to me at the sale price.
