but do i need to buy a speacail wire to hook this console to my tv i got it for my kids for xmas and was just wondering if i need to buy diffrent wires

That all depends on the tv your hooking it up to. IIRC it comes with standard composite/RCA cables (red white and yellow)
A dumb question would be starting 3 different threads for it, and asking it 3 times. ;)

Yep, does it have a input in the front or back with 3 red, white, & yellow inputs?
If not, you'll probably need a RF Switch for a co-axle hook-up, the older cable TV wire type hook ups that you plug/screw in with a copper wire in the middle.
I can take pics "if needed" to show the difference between the two types.
