My local Circuit City told me they were getting 15 Wii's this morning. I asked are you sure your getting some in.? Their like yes we are positive we are getting some in but we dont know exactly how many.
So i go around 5ish and their are about 10 people already their, so i sit and wait. One of the other guys waiting for the wii walks inside the shipping garage and asks the manager how many wiis they got in. The manager then comes out and says their is no Wiis and is really rude and tells us to leave otherwise hes calling secuirity.
Do you think i should go and yell at the manager today and try to make him reserve me a wii by next shipment, for lieing?

They can't do anything. Just be glad they told you earlier that they didn't get any. Managers of individual stores have just about no control over what and when they get everything, especially with Wiis.
(I don't like CC any more than you, the video game and dvd sections at mine are so unorganized it isn't even worth looking to see if they have something in stock)

most of the retails stores suck. this is very common tho. many people wait in line, the managers will not say if they have wiis and if they do the manager will not say how many. i dont understand why all these people never pre-ordered months ago only to waste so much time and effort in trying to secure one. you can always ebay as the price has lowered a little.

i remember waiting in line and talking with other customers about the wii. and managers on power trips. the manager at the best buy i was waiting out seriously came out 10 times, either holding hot coffee, a bagel, a donut, or all three at the same time to antagonize us.

at least CC will still price match anything and everything...
I still prefer them to BB, but you're still going to get the standard big box customer service there.

I know this is a piss on CC thread, but I must say the manager at at least my local Walmart is a quality fellow. I obtained a wii by being one of the ones to "camp" out all night but it wasn't really camping. They allowed us to stay in the layaway section in the store which conveniently has bathrooms. To roam the store during the night (smart on their part as most of the wii waiters ended up buying additional Christmas presents), and they frequently brought out free coffee, juice, and donuts. Really, nice of them. I allways have shoped at that Walmart and will continue doing so.

Circuit Sh_ty is the worst. I only shop there when I get a gift card. I hope I dont get any this Christmas.
