It sounds like you should just have to go to 192.168.1.1 and depending onyou r router there should be a tab to select your channel, and just change it to 1 or 11.

hey, go to nintendowifi.com and go to tech support. look for the kind of modem you have and it will tell you how to go to the settings..... i will just give you the link. hope it helps. it took a week for my bro to get his router to act right. i live out of state so i really could not help... SO FRUSTRATING!!!

On the Wii? It doesn't give me this option. It asks for crap like, "Type of Security", "Auto Obtain IP Address", "Auto Obtain DNS" and "MTU Value". I'll look for more help on the interwebz when I get more time.

it says ds, but it will all work for the wii. one thing, if you have a ds it only support wep security, not wpa. the will support both wep and wpa!!!

Doesn't your router have preinstalled software that changes the settings automatically for you? I know my Belkin came with something like that.
